I was trying to compress .rar files into one large archive... should have realized you can't compress already compressed stuff

Ragusa, what do you do in the publishing house? (Or, what will you do). I am interested in creative writing...

    Saber,.rar does compress.

It only won't help you if you want to compress already sort-of compressed files, like mp3's or .jpeg files for instance. They're about as small as they can get already.

Actually...you can put anything in to a Zip/RAR archive. If it's already been compressed, it won't shrink any more, but it'll still be there.
Try compressing an entire 10GB encrypted drive in to one RAR file set to "best" compression. It only took 3 hours... :bang: But once it was done, I was able to fit it on a DVD. :D

In other news...I completely shaved my beard and mustache off. I forgot how I looked with no facial hair.

Also, I just got off the phone with my "life coach"...(required program by my work to get big discounts on our health insurance)...anyway, the b***h said I don't have healthy eating habits, and that I need to reduce the amount of red meat I eat. So I'm literally eating half of a rotisserie chicken as I type this. :yum: :rolling:

    Quick Answer: They don't.

Long answer: They posted as registered members and were subsequently unregistered. I've forgotten why they got unregistered.

It was years back when the board software didn't have an in-built function for changing members' names. It was done via a mod which basically deleted all of the user's old profile after the name change. All the data from the old profile got copied over to the new profile, and the old profile was then deleted. Posts from members without saved profiles show as unregistered, so you'll see them here and there in really old threads where people have changed their names.

Kitrax: I bet they want you to start eating more grains like wheat and barley. Only a guess, but you are still in Utah. My aunt cooks with wheat and barley. It's not bad, but I still like hamburger and steaks. Pork and Chicken I believe are white meats...

I played CSS all day. I have relised that I hate the new pricing system ($1 for nightvision and over $6500 for the third CT rifle??? and the D-Eagle costs over $3000? What were they thinking?)

Jack has the hospital today. Instead of sending him to the one 10 minutes' walk away he has to go to one that's an hour and a half's drive away  He has to take the whole day off school for one appointment
