I don't even think I did, I just couldn't stop playing.

I want to kill my ugly hoochy-mamma of a neighbor. Her wanna'be gangst'a boyfriend has a rice rocket that he converted to a bean-burner (a Mexican's version of a rice rocket)...anyway, he parks his piece of sh** right outside my window and lets it sit idle while they more-or-less attempt to procreate. That's not really the problem...she already has 3 kids, no husband, and lives in a one bdrm apartment… The problem is the huge pipe some idiots call a muffler that's actually louder than a passing train that her current iodio of a boyfriend has attached on his bean-burner!

Some people buy them because they are "performance" mufflers that are supposed to increase the flow of their exhaust systems...but this just proves that they're idiots. How can a huge, noisy, and stupid looking muffler increase exhaust flow without adding bigger pipes from the headers to the "performance" muffler?

Then there are the idiots who buy them because it makes their lame ride sound cool...

Either way, I think the government should ban such devices that make a car so loud you can hear it coming from a mile away.

That and putting 10 grands of chrome gizmos on their 1992 Civics. I hear ya, man, I f****** hear ya.

I still remember my dumb coworker at work encouraging me to put one of those trumpets on my truck... f*** that, man! Nice wheels and lowered suspension is OK... dump trumpets and body kits aren't.

 

Geeze, the weather dude on tv said that it got down to -29 degrees F (that's -33.8C for you metric-ites) the other night. What's really scary, is that temp. was taken about 10 miles from where I live.

Speaking of temperatures, we got bored in my bay at work last night... At one point we had 6 of our 8 furnaces out, so we put a digital thermometer on the rack between them (about 3 feet between the two stacks of furnaces). The temp was 89.9 degrees F with humidity of 65%.

It doesn't sound all that bad until you realize that we're completely covered in polyester, and to stay comfortable, the ambient temp needs to be about 65-68 degrees.

Ah, my yearly flu visit. Just great.

 

I was talking about the flu with my mom the other day, and it occurred to both of us... I have never had the flu. I've had flu-like symptoms plenty of times before, but never influenza itself. Pretty odd, actually.
I have never been vaccinated against the flu either.

 

My thoughts exactly...

I wouldn't mind paying the income to finance a WORKING system, but the health care system in Quebec is an abysmal failure - I mean doctors get offered better jobs with better salary with less income and better work conditions - easy to understand why they're in such shortage here. Never mind trying to become a nurse here, which pretty much equals a decision to commit suicide. Yes, it's THAT grim.

And Kit, thought you'd like to know that there's a guy with a heavily modified Civic (think 10 grand and more of stuff) in my street, and guess what? It got vandalized last night, I saw it when returning from work this morn. I suspect the bunch of drunkard jealous teenagers living at the middle of the street... not the first time these morons cause problems.

But anyway, ironic how stuff happens sometimes.
