Shell, sorry about the tonsils. Don't know how I've stayed relatively well this winter, usually I come down with everything. Though I am washing hands much more faithfully now.

Cold but clear and cloudless here, should be nearly warm tomorrow, but possibly snow tomorrow night.

    @Ragusa

Well, I'm swept. She blinked a couple times after you said that, didn't she?

    @ Everyone

Seriously, if it drops like one more friggin degree, I just maybe might sorta smoke one less cigarette a day.

Yeah it was -10 F overnight here, but I shouldn't complain after the winter we have had. Well I am off to work, I think it is a four night stretch this time, fun for everyone!

Finally got the stock I ordered from House of Kolor. That should add some variety to the range of colors, and hopefully, rid me of the boring factory paintjobs.

Off to eat a bite now. Later, peeps.

Early start for the weekend, huh? I worked tonite, I work tomorrow morning, and I work through the middle of Sunday. :nolike:

Add to which, it's a nasty, high-winds blizzard out there for the past four hours, and I'll likely have to get up EARLIER than normal, just to dig out, before I go to work. :grr:

That, and the lights keep flickering....but haven't had any brownouts, yet at le-

@ Jaded Empath - Yah, I was watching the National news earlier and they showed you guys in for a blizzard. We got ours here a little over a week ago and now things are pretty much back to normal.

I got a call from Mom because she was bored and lonely. She reminded me that I'm on her living will, meaning I get to be the b**** who let's her die. Mom doesn't want to be resuscitated. We ended the call when she said, "Oh, Casey's is getting a truck in!"

"Hang up, Mom, and get to the window!"

When you're homebound like her, seeing the gas station across the street is high entertainment.

Afternoon to all. The tempreature is about 20o C.

Two hours ago it was about 5o C. There is nothing quite like Melbourne weather.

On another topic, I have a new book. :)

Too true. On the weather report, I have seen it in single digits for the minimum and pushing 40 for the maximum in a single day. Gotta love those winds from the north that bring in all of the heat from the outback.

It's the weekend! I just gorged on steak and had some margaritas. Not a bad way to spend a Friday night.

Don't feel too bad Rally, on my way home tonight the big temperature sign down the street of my apartment said it was 2 degrees F! That was at 9:30pm. I'll have to look at my work's weather report to see just how cold it's going to be tonight. We're experiencing a crummy weather pattern called the "inversion" where a layer of cold air gets trapped (along with all the pollution) under a layer of warm air between our two mountain ranges. On the news, they said it's actually *warmer* up at the ski resorts!

My asthma is going crazy. :rolling:

Oooh, inversions. Those are fun. We usually get those in the summertime. Might as well lock yourself in the garage with the car running as breathe the air outside.

The ski resorts here in California are not doing too well. Mammoth doesn't have anywhere near enough snow to make it worthwhile to take the trip.

Well, T'was Australia Day yesterday...I think I must've been the only guy in the country not drinking beer. Ah well, at least I had about six pies. Then I felt guilty about that, and went for an extra half-hour on this morning's run. Ah exercise. Ain't it grand?

After about a year of owning the game, I finally clocked Half-Life 2...Now I'm off to play Deathmatch. Hooray.
I think I'm the only person in the world who hates the HL-Map 'Dust'. I must be. I swear.

Is it bad if my computer fan is making a 'whirring' noise? I think my CPU might be melting. I'll give the inside a good vacuuming.

    Plus it's hot.
    Ciao!

I went through a 4-pack of sugar-free Full Throttle tonight. Can you say no sleep for me tonight?

Hmm, I just remembered I should drop a mail to Bell Stupidity for my wireless web problem which was supposed to be solved at most today and who still isn't. Bunch of lazy arses.

Mrmph. Lots of fun at volleyball, but the knee I bruised last Friday and then again Sunday still hadn't gotten better and I re-bruised it some more tonight. That thing's probably going to be acting up for a month.
...Anyone who has worked at any company more than a month can personally attest to this one.
