I have to go to the doctors offiice and get some blood drawn this morning before I can eat anything. I also have to take the kids to ice skating. I love my life.

@Iku, go see somebody for this problem, it wont go away on its own if it is true depression.

Stay away from news sources - tv, papers, magazines, online - and play video games where you can kill other players or at least maim something. You become a bit of a hermit, but no one's walking around with a butcher knife in their chest. It's the best non-medical advice I can give you. And don't put all you hopes on antidepressentants - you may be like me and have a tolerance.

I lost a bag of chocolate covered caramels. :mommy:

That's a good idea Shell but our place isn't that convenient for watching more children than my own. I also have a very small kitchen which is a pain-in-the-button to prepair meals. Nice idea though.

I did go and see someone about it. I have an appointment next monday. And this was a private psychiatrist, which is a lot quicker than regulars.

I have to wait a %#ยค{ing week to get antidepressants or something. But I'm not putting my hope on them. I doubt that they'd even work as much I'd need them to.

Otherwise, I'm in a que for a psychologist, psychiatrist and for studies if I have ADD or not. In the last one I've been waiting in the line for a year already.

    Avoiding news - check
    Avoiding people - check

I guess I'll slaughter some Aurilites and whatnots in IWDII for the rest of the week.

    Thanks people.

Last night was not a good night for sleeping. The local Univeristy team won the national football (American football) championship.
Add to that the fact that a lot of people had leftover fireworks from New Years'.
The combination meant noise until the wee hours of the morning.

I had to work until 10pm last ngiht, then had to be back at work at 10am this morning.

Needless to say, I'm a bit sleep deprived.

There're 4 boobs in the family already - the parents and mom's mammaries. ;)

How's this for manufacturing? The lid on my Cheez Whiz isn't big enough to grip the threads on the jar. It's a pop top.

[IMG] Well, after several instances at work to prove it; I'm going deaf.
    :grr:

Or, more precisely, I'm losing my ability to discern speech from background noise. This has been diagnosed an minor issue in my teens, but evidently it's getting steadily worse as I age.

Thanks to Canada's british origins, this country too believes in socialized medicine, so I won't have to pay for any of the visits I'm expecting over the next year or two (long waits expected for referrals to audiologists and neurologists) but it'll likely be a LONG time before I find out what can be done. It's not my ears, so a hearing aid won't be of any use; it's my BRAIN.
    see here

So, life sucks here, too. :sosad:

Everyone in the vicinity is awaiting a huge blizzard. This morning I ran to the grocery store with the expectation that I won't be leaving the house for a few days.

After two days of no school (we have the plague, methinks), I have to go back :( I was enjoying my time off.
