"If a radio station changes its music format, the on-air staff, their call letters, the transmission frequency, and moves their offices and studios across town, are they still the same radio station?

Okay, now how about if they just change the music?"

Nope. I mess it, I clean it. If you ever get a chimney, however, I'll be more than glad to take your money to clean it.

Dad and I cleaned out our Chimney ourselves. One person on the roof with a long pole, the other at the bottom taking the soot out from the bottom...

I got pulled over today for having a headlight out...

What I really want to know is who thinks of the fines, that violation has a $101 dollar fine (no I didn't get it). Come on, I could see $100 (maybe), but why add the extra dollar.

Lastly I have a new gem.

*sigh* Another episode with Lisa Howard. If it weren't for Peter Wingfield showing up, I'd just sleep in the next 2 weeks.

Man, what a bunch of slobs we're turning in at three days before the end of the semester... we've done absolutely *nothing* today. Worst ever, there's a LAN party friday... either I go there or either I go to two classes. I say f*** both, I'm going shopping for Xmas presents (for myself, of course) friday. Besides, I don't want to eat the uber-cheap and uber-disgusting pizza (the-2-for-the-price-of-1 type of cheap pizza) they'll be dishing around for supper.

I just got myself a nice black stainless ring that strangely looks like a wedding ring. Hehe.

@ChickenIsGood - maybe the fines are set to be as inconvenient as possible, so as to emphasize the punishment given with them? :heh:

@Colthrun - I really hope you know what you're doing; it's easy to make soot build-up worse and end up causing a housefire by 'mucking about with a long stick' in the chimney...you might wanna check with your fire brigade for some advice before breaking into "Chim-chim-Chiree"... ;)

@jaded empath: My girlfriend's dad and I clean the chimney twice a year using professional tools. Even if I don't know what I'm doing, he certainly does (that's why I am the one getting dirty all the time  ).

Today's OotS strip is a treat for all Final Fantasy fans out there.

No more goddamn academic research papers. Now there's just three exams to go.

Woohoo, the holidays are almost here. I'll finally get some recording done. And writing - the kind of writing that's actually fun.

Oh, and beer. Must not forget beer.

w00t! The Nemesis is back! Not only did I salvage my crap performance last Tuesday by making a load of good saves, but I scored the game winner on the last play with the cheesiest, luckiest goal in the world :D

Anyone that plays football will appreciate just how funny this is: I play left fullback, so off a deflected clearance at our end from a corner (so all their men were at the half-line or farther) I caught the ball with a header over my man and ran it all the way to the other end. I had to change directions and shift towards the goal, but I couldn't stop my momentum or the defenders right behind me would catch up, so I lost control of the ball and pushed it too far up front. The keeper ran out towards me so I pulled my leg back for a shot...

and MISSED!!!! :D since I was coming from the left, diagonally towards the goal and aimed my shot to the left, the keeper guessed correctly and dropped to that side, but since I missed, I just hopped over the keeper and the ball's momentum carried it all the way into the goal :shake:

Tell me that's not funny :p C'mon, Barmy? Anyone? :D
