Tomorrow's the big day... tomorrow decides whether I get to stay for another 2 years and get a PhD, or whether I get kicked out...

Now, how can I sway my committee members towards one decision?

Actually...I already proved that already when I made the wrong answer to the aged old: "If you loved me, you'd clean the litter box." line. I countered it with, "Well, if *you* loved me, I'd already have my new camera...so therefore, I don't think I should *have* to clean the litter box until I get my new camera!"

The "If you loved me, you would <insert mundane chore here>" line is the biggest load of crap that women came up with to try and get guys to do what they want. I don't stand for that lame line and she knows that when ever she uses it, I counter it with something like a new camera, a new truck, or a new computer. :p

    I need food. :rolling:

@Kitrax, the best counter I can think of to the cat litter line is: "If you really loved me, we wouldn't have the stupid cat anyways." Of course this is best delivered over the phone, and only if the cat is hers, and you don't pan on getting any for a while, and you like the doghouse.

My 8 year old NEC MultiSync 70 is finally dying on me. I am getting some serious white out wver since I started playing Quake 4. I was a little surprised that I couldn't even find a single CRT monitor. At least the price had come down on the flat panels.

{edit} On a hunch I went and installed the latest video driver for my FX 5700 card and I am not having the white out problem anymore.

Eh, I had a bad day today. Didn't understand anything that went on in school today (frustrating...) friends annoy me, emotions blow.

On an upside, a good math innuendo:

I'll direct my tangent to your origin.

I bumped into a gal I went to adult's education with when going to get a Subway today at lunch time - she's still as cheerfull and speedy.

Architecture is slowly burning me up. My interest withers at the same speed my caffeine consumption increases.

Sure, Princess, sounds good to me. It certainly will crank me up a bit - pretty moody today. Just let me get the keys and let's go.

Here, someone left those behind from the last party I had here. I really didn't know what to do with Mt. Dew anyway.

    Mmmmm...caffeine. My secret lover.

Just to bore you all with useless stats, here's some comparisons of caffeinated products:

    Code:
    			Caffeine equivalents

In general, each of the following contains approximately 200 milligrams of caffeine:

    One 200 milligram caffeine pill
One and a half pounds of milk chocolate (680 grams)
Two 8 fluid ounce containers of regular coffee (470 millilitres)
Two and a half 10 oz. bottles of Bawls caffeinated drink (740 millilitres)
    Three standard Excedrin pills
Three 8 fluid ounce cups of Red Bull energy drink (710 millilitres)
Four 8 fluid ounce cups of Vault energy drink (1.0 litre)
Five 1 fluid ounce shots of espresso from robusta beans (150 millilitres)
Five 8 fluid ounce cups of black tea (1.2 litres)
Five 8 fluid ounce cups of Mountain Dew (1.2 litres)
Five 12 fluid ounce cans of typical soda pop (1.8 litres) (variable)
Eight and a half 8 fluid ounce cups of Coca-Cola Classic (2.0 litres)
Ten 8 fluid ounce cups of green tea (2.4 litres)
Fifty 8 fluid ounce cups of decaffeinated coffee (12 litres)
Yeah, that's right...it only takes about *three* 12oz cans of Mt. Dew to achieve that perfect caffeine high, while you Coke drinkers have to drink over *five and a half* 12oz cans to get the same effect. And I won't have to go to the bathroom as often either! :p :rolling:

    Good Morning SPers

As a hardened :coffee2: drinker I'd like to point out that you're happy it takes 36oz to achieve a high, while it takes 16oz of Arabica or 5!!!! of Robusta coffee meh :p :spin: Me looks at my double espresso and large black coffe

@Wiley If there's a pot in the kitchen, there will always be either donuts or muffins (american) by it

Well, I understand them if they otherwise have to do it on their own and they aren't pushing guys around to do all of it. It's not like we don't love them just because we're lazy, but if we loved them more, we wouldn't leave all chores to them, no?

WTF? Don't tell me you're one of those, "I love you more...", "No, *I* love you more!", "Well, then I love you the *most*!" types... :skeptic: :rolling:

Don't mind the sharing of chores, but why are all the smelly stinky nasty ones, mine? It's like Kit's cat, it's her cat, she got it, therefore it's her responsibility, not his, not ours, Hers.... /end rant

Love is not a competition whereby we prove ourselves all the time, at least it shouldn't be
