I got handed a cheque for £200 yesterday.

Today I spent £159 of it on paint for our new home. Paint!!!!! at B & Q. Since when did paint get so expensive?

It's almost the weekend again. Just a few more hours of work and it'll be Friday evening before I know it.

Woo, off for the October holidays. Other than the part-time job, I don't have to meet or be pleasant to anyone for two whole weeks.

    Bliss.

Went out for dinner today. I had some lovely pork chops with peppers and roasted potatoes... :yum:

I'm so stuffed I can't go to bed right now.

I did not have a good day today, but I can't rant about it because I don't have enough time.

Alright, now I have time to explain.

    One: Splitting headache.

Two: My girlfriend... see Relationship Rant Thread.

Three: Freakin' Theatre Tech. On the one day that our TD is gone, we find out that we built the frame to the most important piece (a balcony, rather simple, but complex to take apart and redo) wrong - somehow, there is an extra half inch, which will not only affect the bracing for it, but the plywood that needs to fit on top. The measurement that would explain the problem is what it should be, but a magical half inch appears right next to it. Damn techgnomes, ruining our set...

I'm not sure what the deal is, but it's been 63 degrees (17.5 C) in here all day. It's not that bad (though it's requiring me to wear socks :grr: ), but it's not what I have the thermostat set to. I can only hope it's something screwy with the thermostat, because otherwise it means my new furnace isn't up to a Wisconsin autumn. Which would be very bad news in a couple months.

Tons of school projects due soon, and my teammates are complete retards. Good thing I made a rough plan, or else they'd be running like headless chicken. Last time I work with these guys.
