    I'm not too bad today, I didn;t srink a lot last night. I met a bunch of guys from Belfast, and got adopted into their group. Those guys were wild, and I'm only half-Belfast, so I had trouble keeping up. Nice relaxing lie in today, and I'm taking it easy so I've got plenty of money for thursday night, our last night here.

    I've tried to make up a pun including the current president of USA and the moral code of the samurai, but can't think of a good one...

    Can't help but thinking of an old Nethack proverb: "There once was an evil (or was it chaotic?) samurai called Luk-No."

    Nomen est omen though, so I find the USA's president's name an amusing coincidence considering his politics.

    And back to boots. How's this chain of thoughts: Zen-buddhism -> bushido -> samurai -> cowboys -> boots -> motorbikes -> Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance?

    I just realised I've been regularly posting in the Alleys again, something I haven't done in a LONG time. It seems to have grown less agressive over there while I was away. Not that I'm complaining.

    [​IMG] Grr. Got an e-mail yesterday about the passcode to mom's account being changed, and called the bank. At 4:30 PM I got a message that their business hours were from something to 5. :rolleyes: Now it's past noon the next day, and they still haven't returned my message. Someone could be doing all sorts of idenity fraud on the thousands in her account, and they don't give a flying ****. :flaming:
