I lived off of microwave dinners in my first year of Uni. The progress of my health over the year bore more than a passing resemblance to what happened to Morgan Spurlock in Supersize Me... :shake:

Fortunately, moving out of halls and into a proper kitchen meant I learned how to assemble a proper meal, and I'm now less likely to die of a coronary before I'm 30. Bonus! :thumb:

I lived off ramen noodles and rice for nearly two years and a half... rice I still eat, but the ramen noodles...? Hell no, keep those away from me, unless they're Chef Woo.

Uh, HB? You need to cook them first. Then they won't be quite so hard. :shake:

And if you boil them in prepackaged Chicken Noodle soup, they'll have good flavour after you include the flavour packet...

I cook the ramen noodles and then drain them and sprinkle a lttle bit of the flavor packet on. I ate them by the case when I was at college.

In other news, we went to the fireworks tonight, and it was a pretty decent show, despite the sprinkling rain. They set them off on one of the Thousand Islands on the St Lawrence river, and there was beautiful breeze to keep us cool.

I gotta go help my wife bake Banana and zuchini bread, there should be plenty to share, and it will be hot in about half an hour. Feel free to have some.

Banana bread... I should make some one day. It's been quite a while, and it's so good with melted butter on it. :yum:

Oh man, do I have a migrane! The light hurts, anything above a slight whisper hurts, and for some reason, I can still smell the smoke from the few fireworks I set off tonight...and the smell is making my head hurt worse. :bang:

But on the plus side, this is my 3900th post...only 100 more to go before I achieve the 4000 post victory lap. Too bad 4000 posts isn't a big deal anymore. Thanks a lot Tal, Chev, HB, Fel, and Ara... :p

    Lousy spammers. :rolling:

    My mum's crabby again.
But it's sunny and I feel happy

    Yeah! Hear hear! Lousy spammers!

At least Kitrax has provided some useful Techno Magic advice in his almost 4000 posts. My meagre total has yielded almost nothing of any value whatsoever.
