    This is mildly annoying. I found my brothers laptop that he hasn't used in a couple of years, and it still works. I updated all the software (which hadn't been done in a good few years), updated the drivers, and got it into good working condition. Then I realize two things:

    First, there is a dead pixel towards the upper right of this screen, which has been driving me insane. On most white backgrounds, I don't even notice it, but as soon as its not, it stands out like a sore thumb.

    Second, the battery is quite dead. I didn't even notice at first. I checked the power level, and it said it was at about 58%, so I decided that it was obviously enough to unplug the laptop and bring it upstairs. Unfortunately, that isn't quite the case. When I loaded up the MaxiMiser program on here, it tells me that the remaining charge in the battery is ERROR. It might be a bit annoying to find a replacement. Anyone know where to find a replacement battery for a ThinkPad T21 around the Toronto area? 'Cause that would be oh so convenient.
