For the record, I still hate tape measures.

 

Freakin' canker (sp) sores... how dare they infest my mouth?!? Well, there are only two, but they are pissing me off. One is on my tongue, so whenever I move it, it hurts...

So I just slaved on my AP english homework for who knows how long. I had to write a poem for the class, and we have to write like 30 more before the quarter is over. What do you guys think of it? (NOTE: It sucks. I am not a poet. This is just a tidbit about my summer vacation that should have been spent training for the football season. I suffered the consequences first day)

Guilt, is that what you feel,
while in your PJ's watching teh sunset?
While rubbing the sleep out of your eyes,
because you left bed not four hours ago?

But then you think to yourself,
drink in hand and overly warm,
"Did I waste this day? No.
I would have done it all the same."

OMFG I feel so emo, someone get me a turtleneck and a razor so I can cut myself

I hate realators! My brother *used* to be one, so I know that all they are interested in is getting you in to an overpriced house so they have a bigger commision.

But on the other hand, we're going to need to get a house sometime this comming September or possible in October. Buying a house kind of scares me. I mean...the average *small to medium sized* house here is now about $200,000.00 - $250,000.00!

Stupid Utah...they think that because Californians can sell their houses for that much, so can they...but the minimum wage here is almost $3 less than CA, and the overall cost of living is less...so therefor house prices should be less too!

 

For the record, I still don't have a car. The guy pulled it around to the front just fine, but when I got in it wouldn't move. Apparently the transmission fluid is low for some reason, so I had to leave it there and rush over to the hospital to see mom just barely before she went under the knife. Thankfully, that all went smoothly, and she's recovering nicely. The chemo wafers that we got a letter about not being approved went in as scheduled, since apparently the doctor worked it out between when the insurance company sent the letter and today.

What a long, nearly pointless day of waiting for me, but at least others did some good.

 

I did some search on my Family name and I've discovered some cool thing, it seems before going to New France the first one cam from Normandy, I wonder if I'm related to William the conqueror *

Well Kitrax, buying a house wouldn't be so bad if life was a RPG and you could just go out and kill a bunch of goblins and orcs until they dropped you enough gold coins to pay for it.

But I guess life just isn't like that. Sucks to be you .

 

It would be easier if I lived in Canada, where all you have to do is find an empty area, build an igloo over the weekend, and there you go.

So it would seem...

On the other hand, if the standard white trash that live off welfare and food stamps can afford a house here, then I'm sure a 21 year old with limited credit history could quallify for some kind of morgage...

 

Um...well, it wasn't easy; I will say I smirked at it at first, but then it got really, really creepy when the babies all took to laughing in unison and shutting up ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Now I'm too unnerved to go to sleep.

But thanks for the effort, Shell; it WAS funny, I just twigged on something unsettling...

 

It was ridiculously easy. Not because it wasn't funny, but because I've seen it so many times on re-runs of AFV that it's just annoying now.

In other news: There's nothing like a backscratch after a long day. *ahhhhhhhhhh*

@ Fel, glad to hear your mom came through the operation OK. As a RN I have come to truly hate cancer, and as a son of parent that slowly watched his father's health decline, I know where you are at. My heart truly goes out to you as you struggle taking care of your parents.

I just had the worst tea ever - Lapsang Souchong by Jacksons. Avoid unless you like drinking something that tastes like ash and BBQ sauce, but smells like bacon.

 

Instead of walking acrsoss the room to check how cold is it out there, I checked it ojnline. Go me!

 

@Cu I happen to like Souchong and Oolong and Pekoe teas but you really have to buy the chinese imports as opposed to the english versions, and they can be hard to get hold of. And you didn't put milk in it did you?
