I thought long and hard before posting this, as Tal has already declared a sort of moratorium on the topic, but there are a couple of things I must state or else feel, well, cowardly and dirty. So here it is, in the interests of information and not debate (which is for AoDA).

1: Mormons are not Protestants in the sense used here.

2: Mormons do not practice polygamy, and have not for over 100 years.

3: The statement that a woman is dependant on her husband to enter heaven is a grotesque simplification of Mormon Doctrine. In truth, MARRIAGE is a pre-requisite for BOTH sexes to enter heaven, according to Mormon doctrine. Each is equally dependant on the other.

I'll leave it at that. Anyone else who wishes to flame Mormons, or me, may feel free to PM me anytime, but please get your facts straight before you do so. I am understandably upset.

Tal, I know you kind of quashed this one, but I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I let some of those lies -- actually, I'll take the high road and guess they were mistakes -- slide without at least trying to get the truth out there. I'll take the Idiot of the Week if I have to.

Depeeras right, I have plenty of Mormon friends, and I have to study their doctrines for street evangilisms and short-term missionary trips.

Spent 2 hours grooming ponies last night, not mine though, someone elses, nearly got trodden on when one of them bolted. Karrie and Rufus, Karrie is 30, and Rufus is FAT!

 

School went horrible here as well,

made a total arse of myself during a meeting with the teachers

 

The worst subjects today were Latin and German.

German turned out to be...interesting.

Sat next to 8people and mucked around on the computers. 8people discovers that her mouse is unplugged, and then spends about 15 miuntes trying to plug the mouse back in, attempts to turn the power off to er computer, and ends up taking the power out of the computers either side of her. Was very interesting. Especially when Zoe and me started getting on her nerves.

yay! Only two more lessons till hometime... I can't wait.

I guess those books will be my failure in my german exam.

Well, we got rid of our cat yesterday. I hated that cat, but now that he's gone I miss him. Weird, huh? We still have our dog, who is too blasted big for the house, so we might possibly have to get rid of her, too. I like the dog, but I'd also like to be able to go downstairs at night for a drink without being licked to death.

Something horrible happened today...

When I was complaining that I didn't want to go to return the video I had rented alone, one of the girls who live here as well went "Awww... 'I don't wanna go...' because she thought I was ADORABLE? And when I was trying to persuade one of the workers to come with me, she told me to stop making puppy eyes at her?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?

(*goes off and dies*)

Arabwel, nothing is wrong with you -- unless you count being adorable as something wrong!

BTW, I don't get the logic -- she didn't want to walk with you to the store because she thinks you are adorable? What does that mean? Is she ugly and doesn't want to be seen in public with you because she thinks you're better looking than her? As is often the case, I'm confused!
