I nearly killed myself watching The 40 Year Old Virgin. We got pizza and I was chewing on a garlic stick when something funny came on. I laughed and my infected glands popped. :bang: Oooh, the agony!

Today in english class, we were talking about whether or not the american government brainwashes its people like Big Brother does (with newspapers, sports, not focusing on the true news, etc) to take focus off of important issues like the war, and I said: "I don't think that if we were in a justified war (america and britain's invlovement in WWII, for example), that the government would want to take our attention off of it.

However, I think because Bush lied about the war (he said he was going in for Weapons of Mass Destruction, but he found none, nor any evidence that any were there, and his real reason for invading Iraq was oil), and because so many people are against it, he wants the people to pay attention to less important issues, because he knows he screwed up. Now, after I said this, the kid sitting next to me flipped out, basically. He got angry at me for saying Bush lied, and that the war was a mistake. He even said "I was about to punch you there."

WHAT THE ****?! Has he heard of freedom of speech, or even respecting others' opinions? I say one thing that most of America believes*, and he wants to hurt me? He said something about not liking Bush, and being a conservative... well, if you don't like Bush, then shut the hell up, you ignorant, disrespectful bastard! I'm not scared of his threat, or anything, but come on, learn to calm down about the freakin' government. I kept my cool, though, and didn't get angry at him right there. I don't understand how the hell he can think that he is so right that people can't think other things...

It'll be funny to see his face when my friend, Matt, and I take over America, and make it into something that isn't a hypocritical piece of hated crap. I'll just laugh, and laugh, and laugh. He makes me angry, and I don't know how to describe his biased, hating, disrespectful (I can't stress this enough... he should have the courtesy to let people say what they want, as long as it isn't discriminatory, or something like that), ways...

Dfly - Yeah, $12 for a pack of 4, what a bargain!

I did kept mine in top shape as long as I could, but now in their current state, shaving with those is comparable to trying to shave with broken glass. Oh well, it's not ALL bad, it's the first time in six months that I change the blades.

You gotta love Gillette. They have a great product and they charge through the nose for it. I buy mine in 20 packs from Sam's, it cost alot but the per blade count is better.

Hmm... wholesale... didn't thought of that. Probably would be a less expensive solution, but I would have razor blades for years and years to come, as I need to shave only once a week (yeah, beard grows slowly, can't say I'm sad), and my last blade lasted six months. So a quick calculation: I use two blades per year, and a pack contains 20. Hell, I would have blades for 10 years!

Still, it's a viable option. Thanks for the tip, Brallrock. :D

I suppose 10 years of blades might be a bit of overkill. I go through about a blade every three weeks, so they don't last that long for me. I wish I only had to shave once a week.
