@olim - The 'h' thing. Some 'h' words don't pronounce the 'h' (hour, honor, etc.), so they get the 'an' article. Effectively, you're saying 'our' and 'onor' and most vowel-beginning words have 'an' as their singular article. Now 'help' and 'hurray' say the 'h', so they get the 'a' article. Make sense?

The police have been by, looking for the blunt object I assaulted someone with. Oh dear, oh dear me. I seem to have eaten it.

I suspect that the proliferation of telephone call answer spam has reached such a level that the phone companies are starting to feel the pain.

I just called up to cancel my call answer service and the billing representative's comments strongly implied that he has been receiving a large number of requests to terminate call answer service.

There is no such thing as needing a haircut. If you want one that's a different issue, but you don't NEED one.

This week's been great. The lab director is away on a conference all week, so we're left to our own devices. The work doesn't slow down mind you, but it is much more relaxing when you've got no one staring at your back watching your every move. And today we had dance music on at all times!

Do you like it? It's a work-in-progress. I haven't thought of a title yet. How about: "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."?

     :spin:

Weeee!!! Off to the pub tonight!

@Ziad - River would disagree with you.

"River: If the snow on the roof is too heavy, you see, the ceiling will cave in! His brains are in terrible danger!
Book: River, please, why don't you come on out?
River: No! Can't! Too much hair! "

Indeed, it is just that I see too often people use words or sentence in foreing tongue without knowing what they are saying, it's just plain absurd to me. But I'd really say Schwarzmetall

    See way more German

Clearly, Ofelix is false. We have to slay you for the glory of Odin now. Nothing personal, of course.
