    :bang: I can't believe I forgot to save! :bang:

    I took my laptop to work last night, and was happily playing BG2 when I came up to the Yaga-Shura battle. I let his army spawn as much as possible before using Kelsey, Immy, and Aerie to toast them all. Then I took on Yaga-Shura. He somehow got Sarevok, my PC, and Aerie down to minimum HP. I ran off in to the upper right corner and pocket planed. I healed, rested, had some inter-party banter, and had Cespanar make everything he could.

    So we get back to the battle, and needless to say, we got butchered. :doh: Both Jaheira and Aerie are quiclkt killed. I decide to reload because not only were they both healers, but I was romancing them both. :love:

    Upon clearing the current game data, I learned that the pocket plane "jump" didn't auto-save! :bang: The last save was right before I entered the siege camp! :flaming:

    So today, I get to re-do the entire thing... :sigh:


    Anyway...the people who walked by acted as if they've never seen a laptop. Every single person who walked by me, kept their eyes on me and my laptop as they walked by.

    Wow! It's a friggin' computer! :eek: :rolling:

    Yeah, I get a lot of looks when I pull mine out too. The only place I'm safe from that is in the complab at MATC; thankfully there are two stations specifically set up for laptops so it's not a new sight for anyone there. I still got sideways glances for the first couple weeks of each class, and someone ALWAYS asks me about it when I whip it out on the bus. :rolleyes: You'd think they'd understand that I took it out because I have something to do! :bang:

    Ranting is fun. :roll:

    Well, I didn't actually have anything to do...which is why I brought it. At my work we have 2 1.5 hour breaks, and I am beyond bored during the second break. Some people read, some people knit blankets and yak on and on, and then there's me...who must be the only one who has ever thought to break the limits of bordom by bringing a device of entertainment! :rolleyes:

    One of these days I might bring my power cord so I can watch a DVD. :thumb:

    Grrr...#sorcerers is too quiet. :bang: :rolling:

    Cancer research has come a long way in the last couple of decades due to some very special activists and doctors and scientists. Your mother has a good fighting chance with todays medicine kuemper. The best thing you can do with the situation is give her all of your love and be there when she needs you.

    We ate tequilla jello with whipped cream for desert. Talk about the perfect end to a meal. I'm not much of a jello person but when you add the liquor it changes everything.

    I'm very sorry to heard that Kuemper, even though I've tease you sereval time, I still think you're a nice person, (for the little I knew you on BOM that is) anyway good luck and keep hope you'll never know what may happen. My aunt was very ill from a stomach cancer-like (don't remember the exact disease but suffice to say it was lethal). Three years ago and had to go weekly to the hospital to receive special treatment chimio therapy I think it was called, or something like that (I don't know the exact english term) Anyway point is after 14 months she was totaly healed a miracle they said. See? Those kind of thing can happen.

    I've done my boo-hoo cry bit. It's now doing what I can for Mom, even though we're so far apart. Brother and wife brought down roast beef, so she's got something to eat besides sandwiches. Her permanent oxygen makes it impossible for her to cook anything on the stove; open flame and all that. :flaming:

    @Kitrax - yeah, I've done that, thinking the PP jump autosaved. :lol:

    I'm up too late tonight/this morning. Runescape has me hooked again. Night all! :sleep:

    Hockey tomorrow! And the next day! And to make matters even better, today I managed to convince the archery club to donate a cup to the college. So I need to go and speak to the head of sports about that... It's great having connections to high up peoples!

    So, the plan for the week:
    Monday - Hockey reffing, Biology Study
    Tuesday - Hockey reffing and playing, Biology Exam
    Wednesday - Archery course setup work thingy, Economics Study
    Thursday - Economics Exam
    Friday - Chemistry Study
    Saturday - Statistics Study
    Sunday - Archery, History Study

    @Rotku is the Archery modern ? I do English Longbow, I have a 6' english yew bow and when strung has a 130lb draw.

    That sucks. But try not to fret; my Godmother had cancer a while ago (it was an unusual sort, so I can't remember the name), but was able to pull through O.K. Just trust in the specialists, and she'll have a good chance.
