I should donate blood soon. I think I'll wait 'till the donor clinic on campus happens.

In other news, the crew of SG-1 ending up in 1969 is just

You know, even though giving blood today made me a hero, I think it unbalanced me a little too. On the drive home I caught my eye in the rearview mirror and started practicing my evil laughter.

Maybe I can be one of those insane heroes, like Deadpool.

    :whoa: Hyeahhhhh.....okaaaaay. I

was going to congratulate you on your civic-mindedness, Jag, but now it appears you have a 'evil mastermind' ulterior motive behind this; I wonder what dasterdy plan you're cooking up? ;)
    .
    .
    .
Oooh! I know; total self-interest - you're ensuring that at least one pint in the blood bank will be compatible with you! ;)

To be honest, that was always my reason for going every 60d or so (being A- only about 1% of the pop. has blood I can use) Then a year back or so, I failed the iron test. I'd go again and check, but I think my job is depressing me and wearing me out, giving me 'tired blood'. :nolike:

    heroic names....heroic name....hmm.

    How about 'The Jaginator'? No.
    "super Jaguar"? Nah.
    "megajag"? eehhhhhh.
    "mr. catastic"? ugh, nevermind.
"The Marvelous Pheline Philantropist"? Not 'super' enough...

Bah, don't worry Jag - the combined intellect here at SP is SURE to come up with a title that'll....well, it won't suck too bad... :D

The reasons were detailed back in the last RB. In short, my grandmother has cancer, my mother got her car impounded, and my job was terminated in a 36 hour period.

They told me they would probably hire me back when the "Guard Project" was back online... Such an empty promise just makes me want to go postal on the F***ing idiot who is responsible for this.

    :flaming: :bang: Grrr! :bang: :flaming:

That also sucks. Condolences, guys. And I've been limping since Wednesday because I must have done something to my foot heaven knows how and where.

@Stefanina: Right. Sorry for bringing it up again. Not like words can do anything but hope it's going to straighten up for you somehow.

Go Postal - V. - To shoot every thing and every person in sight.

A while back some psycho-postal worker took his aggression out on his co-workers and managers with a gun, killing several and wounding several others...do a google search for it if you really want to know more.

I on the other hand, only use it as a joking term, meaning that I'd like to shoot the "boss" that laid me off.

Luckily, I'm not dumb enough to kill someone in "cold blood", nor do I have access to a gun...So take my threats with a grain of salt...so to speak.

But *IF* I could have my way, I'd beat the bloody hell out of him with some type of blunt object...like a frying pan, or his laptop, or both...and then fire *him*! See how he likes un-employment! :rolling:

[IMG] I was out biking late at night. Then I noticed a white blur in the corner of my right eye. I then noticed that I was within 2 feet of a skunk. :aaa: Wow did I ever make a quick jerk and swerve to the left. Lucky for me it was absorbed with chewing the grass on the roadside. Close call there ... :whoa:

Tomorrow I really must do assignments and such - probably a good deal of study as well, seeing that I've forgotten everything I learnt this term.

    I dislike wading through chaos.

@Kitrax - been there, too. Use frozen meat - a leg of something for better swingability.

We went shopping yesterday to get Hubby sneakers. He tries on 15 or so pairs and leaves empty-handed. I try on one, and take them. :D
