    It's so funky that when Arabwel went to take it out, instead of a loaf of Bread, she pulled out a blank.

    LMAO, Match game was great too...

    @HB:
    :lol: Of course you can't measure The Funk, but you can measure funkyness. As in:
    Smell my finger and tell me that ain't funky. (For all the Foxworthy fans out there :D )
    or
    How funky do my socks smell?
    or
    There's a lot of funkyness coming from the other room.

    I have no idea what a Foxworthy is. Is it some sort of brand of toilet paper?

    @HB:
    LMAO. Jeff Foxworthy is a comedian who does redneck jokes, and a couple of them involve the phrase "Smell my finger and tell me that don't stink." The thing he's most famous for is "You might be a redneck if..."

    A couple examples:

    ...if your richest relative buys a new house, and you have to help take the wheels off of it.
    ...if you've been married three times and still have the same inlaws.

    :hmm: You know, if you like these I could post some in the joke thread.

    What a pleasant morning. I sit in my room with my brandnew carpet and the sun is shining through the window of my study and I'm having my second cup of coffee ... great. Basically.

    Wouldn't it be that I Cologne is overrun by pilgrims as the pope is coming to the World Youth Day. Great people, some 500.000 of them, and so very peaceful. I'm doing my very best to give them a warm welcome and aid them when they get lost, and they often do. But it's straining already, public transport is pretty burdened already, and it hasn't even really started yet. There is no escape.
    It is this particular beaming, the demonstrative peacefulness that has already annoyed me with the peacenicks when I was a child in the 1980s -- I never really bought in on that -- with their songs and their grim determination to be good all day and say no silly words, whatever the price. Not to mention the Birkenstocks. Ack. I see myself persuading some of these creepy do-goods to a serious pub crawl. Amen.

    Geez, there's a herd of them, Spaniards or Italians I presume, marching by under my window chanting songs and playing the flute (miserably) :rolleyes:

    And I have to take my underground in half an hour ...

    If Rick James weren't dead, I'd swear he was baking Ara's bread! Maybe he was in the yeast?

    AHHH! Damn Technology! Damn College, Damn my life!

    My computer went crazy!
    First the power suply broke down, so I had it repared plus I've had some more RAM to it. Cost 115$. Now When the guy changed the power suply he might have accidently caused dammage to windows XP and now everything is slow, and none of my game work even BG 2 won't work. Since I do not have the windows XP cd I'd need to get the computer back at the store, so they might format it cost 50$ plus I'd loose all data. So in other word I need to pay for the reparing of a problem they possibly created.

    My mother bought a new computer for her personal use at the same store that caused all this madness. The plan was that I'd use this one (which is mine btw) in my room for school work and games, while she'll use her for her own use. It sure is scary to think of all the madness happened a single months after the garanty was off

    College start next monday, I just *need* this piece of junk to do my work. The teachers might start a Strike. And last but very worst, my schedule is a nightmare, two day in a row I have 8 AM to 6 PM of classes with no break whatsoever, while Thursday I have no class at all.

    And I think I'm begening to be sick. Urrhgh, If thing continue to go on you won't find me here at all.

    Why don't you have Windows? The OEM CD belongs to you along with the license and no one has the right to sell you a copy of windows pre-installed on the hard drive and without a CD to it.

    Anyway, what are you going to do with a formatted disk if you don't have the Windows CD? If you don't have your own license, the shop has no right to install Windows for you.

    You can't do any damage to the operating system when you are just exchanging the power supply. The only room for trouble here is getting a weaker supply than one had had before and weak enough to be unable to fuel all devices properly.
