I think I'll pass over this french debate... But still I prefer speaking and writing french than english.

Yeah I am a Quebecois, French-canadian, but Saint-Jean Baptiste I don't see why I would be refered as our national saint patron and festival.

I just turned down fries in favor of onion rings. Mmmmmm, onion rings...

 

Ewww...onions are gross! They should only be used as seasoning for meat...not fried or eaten whole.

I don't like the 'creepy cat lady' downstairs...

 

@Fel - The water fowl...and *don't* go getting any ideas about a late night snack! Those little ducklings ain't worth getting your paws wet and me squirting you with a water bottle. I was watching a group of nine Sunday and realized ducks are SEALs - of course, there's no way they could pass the medical with flat feet.

There *is* when she is almost exactly like the creepy cat lady from 'The Simpsons'. *shudder*

First she asks me to take her down the street to the gas station to get a pack of cigarettes, and after I say I "can't" she asks to use *my* phone when she's standing there with a cell phone in her hand! And it was one of those 'unlimited minutes for one big bill' phones...

Good thing I had a few alcohol swabs to disinfect my phone when she was done.

I am not her taxi, and I am not her cell phone provider. If she needs a ride, she needs to get a car. If she a phone, there's a pay phone at the clubhouse. If she can't afford either, maybe she shouldn't be buying cigarettes and living at a fairly expensive apartment complex. Stupid people!

 

Maybe she's got the hots for you, Kitrax. She looks for excuses to see you, asks favors she doesn't need. I think she's in . And the cat lady from the Simpsons never speaks, she just yells unintelligibly and starts throwing cats at you.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with cat ladies! There's something wrong if they're creepy, but not all cat ladies are creepy!!!

 

Kitrax, here is something you could try saying next time she asks to use your phone.

"Sorry, my phone has been disconnected" That little phrase hasn't failed me yet.

 

@Ofelix: Outdated appellation, probably from the time of Franco-English wars in Canada. At least that's how they used to call you.

@Kitrax: Pretending to need a ride is an old trick... but no one would be so stupid as to give you a chance of doing a favour by lending the phone when she's already holding one in her hand. No way... A normal woman thinks a couple of times before she asks a friend or date to let her use his mobile, let alone a relative stranger. Danger, Will Robinson. Freak Alert.

I so appreciate women who speak what's on their mind. It being something else than nothing is another plus.

Got level 24 in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne team games. Don't I own? Need to finish KotOR 2 now. Then HotU. Also need to buy a domain and migrate my site. And get the damned jaw surgery done. And finish coding the alignment etc quiz in PHP. Not to forget some SP coding. Dang... looks like busy holidays. Just why do I feel like writing a poem now? Can't find any words but I already feel the flow. Twelve syllables per verse, divided into two groups of six... Come to think about it, might as well recall hendecasyllabus but ancient rhythms are so funny in modern languages.

 

I started playing online is the Sacred Kingdoms 342. Although I've played a ton on single player modules I've actually done very little online gaming. I wish I knew what the hecK I'm doing.
