    Survived the party. Smoked my cousin horribly playing Magic. he got me close to death then I stopped him cold and turned the tables on him. the last guests didn't leave until 1 am, so I'm late getting to my e-mail and SP!

    I have to be hired on as a full time employee (I'm still a temp after 6 months) and then I'd have to wait 90 days for the insurance to kick in.

    And by the way, you should be at #sorcerers right now! Everyone should! It's soooo boring there right now, we need more people STAT! :rolling:

    Trying to put together a new kitchen cart, and discovered the middle piece was put together backwards... grrr.
    Got it put together the right way, waiting for glue to dry now.

    @ Kitrax: THat why I beg my doctor's office for samples. She's good about giving them to me, since she knows I don't have insurance.

    [​IMG] Whew! I skinned a knuckle yesterday, so I couldn't do the dishes anymore (lest I bleed in the water or on the dishes), and so I waited in fear for the relatives to show up. Fortunately I managed to keep the relatives out of the kitchen, and the Glade (R) Plug-Ins I scattered around the house covered up the smell! :D Now I have enough time to finish.

    You ever have one of those moments when you instinctively do the stupidest thing imaginable? One pot I found (before the knuckle skin) seemed odd, so in order to see if it really was the major smell-maker, I brought it up to my nose and SNIFFED IT!!! :sick: I spent the next two minutes cleaning the puke out of the sink. Whatever sludge had been in that pot (I had to keep my head turned away when I emptied it out) ate away half of the finish from the bottom of it. :whoa:

    Still, happy thoughts: I had a fun weekend at home, and got so much free food off my parents that I feel almost unable to move. :yum: :D
