Our *kettles* are weak. The last one lasted 2 weeks before breaking. Damned karach shortage.

Oddly, though, we have this really old one that spills water everywhere when you try to pour a cup that refuses to die. It's lasted years, but is -- at the same time -- completely crap. It's mostly full of calcite deposits, which I've hypothesised are the source of its strength. Nothing else can withstand our tea addiction. Unfortunately, nothing else would deposit that much scum in a cup in one pour, and less water. :grr:

EDIT - don't you love it when two separate conversations overlap like this? :D

@Chev. But, anatomy is destiny, so surely polygamy is therefore destined?

Hehe. Joking man. I'll stick to monogamy, like a good little C of E boy.

@RQ. The Monty Python fest continues.

    Surely ecky-ecky-ecky-ecky-f'kang zooom-poing umvesauvezhir? Well that's what I heard.
    Carrying on:

    Gooooorne.
    Keble bollege Oxford.

    (Though I'm going to St. Hugh's :D )

Magpie- that stuff's good for you anyway. They've shown that people who live in soft water areas get more bone disorders for lack of calcium. That's all they stick in cereals with "Added Calcium!" anyway, they throw a bit of ground up limestone in. "Now with added iron!"? That means one or two iron filings. You can put a bag of Rice Krispies in a blender and then move the bits around with a good magnet.

Our kettle's the same. *Kettle*, even. I'm not sure it deserves asterisks, but still. Can you get *karach* kettles? Though if I tried making tea in the morning, getting it to boil water in my mental state before a single drop of tea would be like persuading Marvin to do a song and dance number. It probably wouldn't even look kettle-shaped. More of a vaguely metallic blob with a spout.

Non exclusive dating isn't a bad thing, it's only if the daters become sexually active outside the bonds of legal and Lawful marriage that is bad. At least that's my take. The idea is that by dating a lot, you get to know what you do and don't want in a person you could conceivably spend eternity with, and a person you'd trust your future children with. It's not about how many people you go out with, it's how you behave while you're on the date that matters most.

Anynoe arguing with that will receive a Grammar lesson from a Centruion.

@Gnarfflinger: I can take the grammar lesson!

I believe that meeting multiple people on a get-to-know basis is the only reasonable way and the fact that someone is in a relationship doesn't mean he can't have friends.

What I believe is that when it gets so serious as kissing, declaring love, sending love letters etc, it must be exclusive -- even though this isn't sex yet. I can't fathom the idea of a Christian woman kissing many men. One on Monday, another on Tuesday, then the Monday one on Weds and the Tuesday one again. It's plain wrong IMHO. One should keep it friends or keep it exclusive.

It could have different connotations. My first reaction was trying to be funny by asking the cliché weather question. Doesn't really matter wether she'll read it or answer it.

This is random babbling after all.
