That is the way it seems to work Ruin Ehwazehs. Heck, when ever I look over my last 50 posts logs I always see these week-end sized gaps.

It's probably because on weekends, (some) people want to go outside, or have things that they have to do, and don't have a laptop that they can take with them; whereas during school, people just get bored out of their skulls and decide that since school computers are essentially unmonitored, they can visit their favourite forums undisturbed.

EDIT: Whee. New gem. Just 25 more posts to go until I get my favourite one...

Or when we wage slaves are sitting here and need something to do for a quick break - we are already using the computer and it isn't obvious that we are slacking off. ;)

    :bang: I'm a fool.

I keep dwelling on something I said last night, and now I realize that I shouldn't have said it.

So stop dwelling on it. If you can fix it, then great. If not, then ride out the storm.

I agree with Jag, Laiwethel, just move on if you can, regretting helps no one. It may be important to reflect on one's mistakes, but there is a difference between reflecting on one's mistakes, and regretting.

    School tomorrow.... joy.

    @ Laiwethel:

If I had a dollar for every stupid thing i ever said, I wouldn't be so far in debt and i could afford a paid account here...

Stop dwelling on something that may have just messed up my relationship with my bf? Right.

Oh well, I think I've sorted things out for the most part now, but I don't know.

That's all I'm saying about it.

Sometimes I wonder if my life would be different, possibly better if I hadn't said something dumb in the presence of a female friend that I wanted to see if something else would develop or simply spoke up when I should have. These regrets will tear you apart if you let them.

If what youy said bothers you that much, don't dwell on it, do what you can to make things right.

Just tell him you were drunk, tired, "having a blond moment", getting ready for April Fools day, or that you were having PMS and you wern't thinking straight....then quickly change the subject to how good he looks, cars, beer, or anything guy-ish and he'll forget all about it. :rolling:

I would rather have no time and things to do than all the time in the world with nothing planned at all...

Depends. If by "things to do" you mean read novels, get drunk, have sex, watch tv and stuff along that vein then I'm definitely inclined to agree with you.

HowEVER. If you mean study, do homework and stuff like that, then I'll take nothing instead.

As it is I've got a lot of the latter stuff to do and "nothing" is not an option

I hate my damn teacher, he hands me a failed paper 7/25 (yes i'm mortified :bang: ) then comments "guess you aren't running for honors again this term, huh?" Bastard!

I have the same thing with my boss, you bend over backwards to help out the department and then she takes all the credit and you get just a mild "thankyou" for acknowledgement... grrrrrrrr... :bang:

    @SotC

not exactly the same thing, but yours is a pisser as well. Yours is more of the "you stole my thunder, you bi+ch!" while mine is more of a "Don't rub it in, you jackass!" :/

A teacher should always push to bring the best out of their students, not push them so far that it causes them to loose the will to try in the future, I had too many teachers like that at my last school, being 15 never felt so baaaad...
