    Sigh, my mother came over last night to look around my house after I discovered the break-in. She quickly pronouncing that my office looked like the burglar had ransacked it - he/she hadn't, it is always a little... chaotically cluttered.

    Naturally she decided to come over this evening to help me neaten things up. Two hours later, I am sitting in my office feeling violated somehow. It just feels too sterile and empty. :(

    I spoke with an American woman on the phone the other day, and when she found out that I was Canadian, we had a small talk about how her and others she knew were talking about moving to Canada after the election ended.

    I find Kerry's policy more unnerving than Dubya's, to be honest. The chief goal is obtaining votes and the cheapest way of doing that is abolishing legal restrictions that bother certain groups of people. Next cheapest way is taking from one group of people and giving to another one. Costs him nothing, gets him votes, what a deal. Not like I like the chimp currently in power, though. However, choosing between them is a matter of who sucks less. I don't envy the Americans here that had to vote.
