Not really :) Decados defined it in his post, although I had a slightly different wording of it in mind:
"There is porn of it. No exception."
I think Saber was illustrating it quite, err, nicely :p

    You're a riot Kit
I was under the impression that group would be more than just language, so not just about some kid sneaking in to read naughty words. And I wasn't worried so much about what the kids would see (I'm well aware of how much they swear and, more to the point, how much they're aware of what all these things mean). My worry was that some Moral Guardian would decide that there weren't enough barriers to prevent kids from cheating and getting in, and would then wage a campaign about how SP is Destroying Our Youth and all that rubbish.

Well, I made a mile long disclaimer, so I think we should be OK in that regard. Now if only our legal department would bless it... *hint, hint*

    We have a legal department?

That's not quite as exciting as the Wild West type of scheme I figured you were running, Tal.

I could make you one.... For something that's ergonomical and lightweight, the flame is only going to be ≤ 6". But the plus side, it requires no constant flame to be present. :D

If you want a bigger flame...as in 4+ feet...I'd need to strap a tank on you somewhere...and you'd have to have a constant flame burning for ignition. Police tend to frown on such things. :bad:

OTOH, I've got access to several pyrophoric gasses at work...if you're willing to wear a SCBA, I can strap a small compressed Arsine bottle to you. If the fire doesn't kill 'em the extremely toxic gas will.

Used a can of WD-40 and long barbecue igniting matches to burn a wasp nest to ashes once. The beauty of it -- brings a tear to my eye. And no, I didn't got stung once... those dumb insects made their nest on the outside of my window frame, so I burned it down and those idiots couldn't sting me because they were outside of the protective mesh, while I was on the other side.

Stunk like hell, though. Burning wasps reek.

Kit: What's stopping arsine from killing 8, too? :p

Today my net died for two hours in the middle of an RP session I'd been looking forward for weeks. It was horrible. :(

    That's why I said she'd have to wear a SCBA... :p

    ---------- Added 0 hours, 0 minutes and 53 seconds later... ----------

So one of my new pet peeves is the word "sure". As in,
"Would you like to come with us?"
    "Sure!"

Now, for all my life, I've pronounced it as "SHure"...and I'm 99.99999% positive everyone else does too. However, there's no 'H' in the word, and yet it still has the 'SH' sound. WTF?!?! :bang:

The way it's spelled, it should be pronounced "Sss-err"

That's the english langage for you.

"I have a bow and arrow" / "I bow to you". Same word, different pronunciation.

Cow, How, Now, Pow, Vow, Wow...

    Low, Mow, Row, Sow, Tow...

Better yet : You take "now" and add the letter k in front of it and it's pronounced "know"...

Yeah...but that's different because vowels can have different sounds. What irritates me is that they're making a "SH" sounds, but omitting the "H". It's one thing to make a letter silent...but adding a sound without the letter is just dumb.

Yeah, we have that in french too. A "c" is supposed to make a "k" sound unless there is a sign under the letter : "ç". Then it makes an "s" sound.

But if you take the word "Décider" (meaning "to decide"), the "c" is pronounced as an "s", even though there is no sign underneath the letter.

I could go on with hundreds of other examples...

People think we're geeks because we like D & D? They should look at the language institutions. They probably meet on Saturday nights drinking champagne, and when they're all drunk, they start to dish out special rules and exceptions for this word and that. Big power trip it is. :nolike:
