Having a bit of a rough patch, but as usual, that is with the ex's.

 

And that makes not being loved so much easier to bear.

 

Geeze...I just got the item I bought off of eBay back in mid-April! I left the moron such a negative review, I hope it makes him cry.

The a**hole required "immediate payment" and in my mind, such demands require immediate shipment!

And now that I've torn it apart, I need to do some research on the parts I was after...mainly the rated speaker wattage, and how much juice the two amplifier chips pump out.

The seller gave me a 100% refund for changing my feedback to positive...hello free speaker system!

 

I refuse to sell on Ebay, the new rules are ridiculous. Buying scams are skyrocketing, and sellers effectively can't do anything about it. Every single friend of mine that used to sell on Ebay quit within a week of the new rules going into effect.

 

Unexpectedly worked today, even though it was my last day off. The extra hours won't be unwelcome.

 

Let me assure you, the buying experience for genuine customers feels like it was intentionally designed to be as unpleasant as possible.

I goddamn hate sniping, the fix is easy (min 1min of time from last bid until auction close), and yet I run into it every other purchase I try to make.

 

Yeah, I hate that crap too...When I place a bid; my maximum is always an odd number. The last auction I won was for $31.77. I checked it about an hour before it ended, and my current bid was at $30...and right before it ended someone tried to snipe it...probably $31, or $31.50...but my odd bid still won.

 

That's where Buy It Now shines. Lessens the horizons of stuff for sale, sure, but at least sniping isn't an issue.

ION, today is dark, and it looks to me like a storm is brewing in the horizon. Good. Less idiots to deal with today.

IOON, no more ecological cigarettes for me. That's an expense I can no longer afford, so I rockstarred the habit to the street. There's some more urgent matters to take care of -- a few details regarding my new flat still need to be sorted out.

 

I'm joining Kit in the realm of having a bad back because of other peoples bad driving! Some silly cow on the other side of the road to me decided to overtake on a corner. I had to slam the anchors on and ended up in a hedge!

 

Eep, hope you're okay Silvery! I hate bad drivers also... I really wish there was a national standard for driving... a lot of states have absolute crap requirements. Like in Virginia, their driving instructors pass them and allow them to get their license. Up here, you have to have a state trooper pass you, which is a lot more nervewracking, but ultimately a better test than driving instructors, many of whom (in my experience) are lazy and don't give a crap.
