One final thing from me... one of the guys I used to work with used to listen to a song that had a line that goes:

"I walk wit a limp cuz my d**k heavy!"

And that just about explains it.

Anyway....moving away from that subject, I just ate 12 eggs in one sitting. They were going to expire today, so I *had* to eat them. :yum:

Appearantly there is a city in New Jersey named Garfield. How cool is that.

Decados, Garfield Minus Garfield is a variant comic strip that takes some of the Garfield strips and edits them to remove Garfield. That usually leaves Jon talking to himself, occasionally to hilarious effect. Nothing to do with any city anywhere ;)

The neighboring town that shared my high-school is also called Garfield.

[IMG] I was just hoping my sarcasm detection was broken :spin:

I have recently watched all of Dexter, caught up with all of House MD (and leant my DVDs to my friend) and have no borrowed Supernatural to watch all the way through to about series 4. Have also watched Bones season 1.

As long as my friend doesn't get me into his comic book collection as well all should be well :mommy:

Heh, don't worry. I've actually got Garfield Minus Garfield bookmarked on Firefox.

I do kinda wish there was a city called that, though.

I imagine there are a lot of cities named Garfield in the US -- just as we have many cities named Jefferson, Washington, Jackson, and Lincoln. After all, James Garfield was our 20th president.

[IMG] There are also quite a number of towns in the U.S. called Calvin and even a Hobbes, AL. I don't remember any presidents called Calvin or Hobbes, though.

Calvin Cooledge -- 30th President of the United States.

Thomas Hobbes (who the tiger was named after) was an English philosopher.

Yeah, I didn't find it too interesting either, but since DotW seemed excited I figure I'd feed him another :D

My friends and I preferred to simply edit out Garfield's thoughts, rather than the cat altogether. It certainly improved the strips.

I'll see your cities, and I'll raise you a county....Garfield-County, UT to be more exact. :p

Speaking of Garfield County....the folks who named that barren wasteland towards the bottom of the state must not have though too highly of President Garfield.... :skeptic:

Garfield County, Washington as well  Which incidentally, does not include the town of Garfield, WA... and is far away from the Garfield High School in Seattle.

Yeah, we rep Mr. G way more than I would ever expect.

    Congrats on the job, Flix.

Unexpected fun is the best kind. :)
And now, off to study the afternoon away, in order to squash guilt.

P.S. There was a psychological evaluation test conducted on my faculty (one of the institutes is running a study or something) and they came to look for a normal student sample in the internet centre... at 9 am. Not sure how reproductive the results will be. :p
At least the thing was anonymous.

I'm tempted to move into Finland, Minnesota...it's not too far from Beaver Bay.
