I've got 2 words for you: HELL NO! :toofar:

There are very few places I would ever consider as a possible place of residence: Southern California (one of the beach cities in Orange County...or the San Diego area), Hawaii, or Germany...in that order. The East Cost isn't for me...unless I (or the wife) got a job offer that paid *extremely* well, and they paid to move us...

As for the smog, it's only insufferable during the winter when we get a temperature inversion which effectively traps all the air pollution under a certain altitude. As you drive down one of the mountain passes that lead into the SLC metro area, all you see is a blanket of whitish/yellowish/brown, and you think to yourself, "Crap, I'm willing driving in to that stuff?" All we need is a good storm to either blow it into Colorado, or wash it away.
Here are 2 pictures of what a "bad" winter day looks like here... Smog1 and Smog2

This place isn't all that bad the day after a good sized snow storm has blown through. :heh:

Haha, the East Coast is the way to go man, I love it out here. Well, it does get a bit chilly sometimes. But, no smog.

Why Germany? That seems very odd considering your two other choices.

Also, your second picture link is dead.

I love medieval German architecture, the Rhineland, Black Forest, and German Alps are beautiful, and Germans are awesome...mainly because some of my ancestors originated from Germany. (But if it makes him feel any better, it's because of Ragusa! :D )

Also, the 2nd link works for me...it must not like you. :p

Haha I guess it doesn't like me much, it isn't finding 404!

I would like to visit Germany, but I can't because of the food... whenever I eat sausages (don't make any comments...) my stomach reacts so badly that I am incapacitated for about a week, I lose 15 pounds, and... well, it isn't pretty. Haha so Germany is out of the question for me!

In other news, I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open...so I'm off to bed.

Here's the thing about the superbowl....even if you don't like either of the teams, it's the perfect excuse to party with friends, get drunk, and watch the hilarious commercials!

In other news, I have the next 2 weeks off work...and the wife left today for 2 weeks in Denver, CO...so I'm home alone for 2 friggin' weeks!

    Party anyone? :D

ZIAD, FOR YOUR CRIMES, YOU WILL BURN IN HELL AND YOUR ETERNAL TORMENT SHALL BE 56K DIAL-UP INTERNET!

    BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That being said... one down, two to go. Oh and I learned that I work this Saturday... so instead of spending a fine evening with my crew I get to play bouncer in a F'N convenience store (there's a parade that passes right next to the store, so imagine the number of boosethirsty hypocritic lemmings we'll see that night... so my boss figured he needed someone foul-mooded with a not so sympathic face to stand next to the booze fridge just so we don't get any stock stolen). And I sure had plans for the evening. Involving a chick, cigars (regular and 'exotic'). Took me everything I had not to shout a "F*** YOU" to my boss when he told me I was working Saturday.
