    ¿qué? :skeptic:

In other news, I went to the first hockey game in over 12 years the other night. The local team isn't NHL level....but it was fairly entertaining. We got free tickets for the 3rd row, which was pretty sweet. The game had only lasted for 4 seconds before the first fight broke out. :shake:

Internet access again and school stuff trapping me here until tonight, (a test included).
Mixed joy and sorrow of Monday.

Almost got a tooth knocked out during basketball today. It's loose, but hangin' pretty fine... This one has never been completely stable since it was left hanging by a thread (not literally :p) in fourth grade.

Bite down on a folded hanky for half an hour, that should re-set it. If it comes out then put it in milk and make a dentist appointment.

Mid-term session starts today! Wish me luck! I'm fairly certain I'll be able to pass through them without going completely crazy though. Of course I'd love five straights "A" but less than "B" is unacceptable.

    Best of luck Flix!

In unrelated news, I'm starting to feel gaming withdrawal symptoms. Not real withdrawal actually, but a strong yearning for my own PC, some free time, access to my games (which sit on the other side of the ocean at the moment) and therefore the ability to play a good game. It's been almost 3 months since I last played something, and I feel it's about time!

Can you imagine a world without hypothetical situations?

It's in human nature to make hypothesis. Thinking of what may or may not happen in the future is, in part, an essential characteristic of sentience. Which makes us human apart from animal, who rely on instinct.

Also, the very question you ask gives you the answer

" can you imagine a world without hypothetical situations? " -- "Imagine" as in, make an hypothesis, of a world without hypothesis :p

Thus, to answer your question is no.

Best of luck on your exams, Flix.

Aftermath of Monday - happy, hungry, tired.
The assistant said she'd put me in quarantine for the next lab session - since I kept answering questions from other people? . No regrets - this was a glorious day to babble.

I'll probably regret the lack of verbal inhibition and not making my statements (and posts :p ) as accurate as humanly possible tomorrow, though.

However, since babbling Monday is still in effect:

There is no such thing as too much RP. :p

Are you suggesting I get high score in every one of them? In that case your definition of "short" does not match either mine or the one in the Oxford dictionary :p
Seriously, thanks for reminding me. They may be just the kind of fix I need to last until I get settled and buy a new PC.

Lore, is that good or bad? I thought you liked extra lab sessions, but you don't seem too happy with it. So, should we cheer or boo for the lab session?
Oh I know. Hurray for Lore anyway! :p

Very deep yet very true. You should have majored in philosophy! :)

Well, if one day humanity spreads in outer space or built habitable stations in orbit around the earth then yes, I suppose any human society would require schools thus, history class. But from now we're far from it.

Are you suggesting my beloved Major is akin to this nonsensical "astrology" thing? :skeptic:

True, history by itself doesn't have any "tangible uses" but so does philosophy, Mister Philosophiae Doctor!

Today's exam was a joke, way too easy. I don't think I made a single mistake. Hope tomorrow's going to be as easy, unlikely though. The Qing imperial dynasty isn't like anything in the west.

    I've got finals tomorrow... :bad:

As long as I don't bomb my Comm 1 final on the electronic theory of AM/FM transmission and reception I think I'll be in pretty good shape. I'm confident that my lab final will get a high grade, considering my radio was the only one that worked properly last week. :p
