Not that I've been posting much recently, I only have a pathetic 1.65 posts per day total these days, but I'll be visiting King Arthur places and getting my brother back from Wales. Yayness. So I won't we posting for a week. Un-yayness.

Hmm, sitting at 2.6 per day. Not too bad considering I've had months of relative inactivity, but certainly nothing compared to the big posters on these boards.

Noticed I managed to get negative reputation from the SoA thread about low-level spells. That in itself I would simply shrug off as odd, but the comment left was "Inattention to critical information in previous posts". After checking through the thread, I cannot figure out when I missed anything that was written, especially not something big enough to receive neg rep. Additionally, the amount the reputation dropped by would suggest that it wasn't one of the participants who did it (assuming I understand the way reputation works). So I am utterly perplexed. If the person who felt I missed something absolutely vital reads this, perhaps they would be so good as to PM me exactly what it was?

Hmmm....I'm at 2.55 posts per day. Even thought I've been here awhile, that number should be higher. I should start posting in the gaming threads again... :rolling:

Yesterday I had a party, and I went manic caught by fear I wouldn't have enough food for fifteen+ guests. So I made in four hours with my utmost German efficiency two large pots of chili, a potato salad, a fish salad, two dips, unpeeled cooked potatoes, some chopped carrots and celery. Some of my guests brought with them cakes and such, with the final result that it was way too much. But it was a great party. And no cooking for the next two days. And lots of excess cake :yum:

    Mmmmmm....cake. :yum:

In other news...before I head off to bed...I just got my arse handed to me while trying to play Google Earth's built-in flight simulator. You would not believe how badly I sucked at that thing. :bad: :rolling:

Probably about as bad as everyone's first go of Moon Lander in the Arcade. Yep, that includes me.

WTF, I just saw this huge insect landing on my bed...at first I thought it was a cockroach (the horror!), but thank god the google images don't look like my insect (and it flew, cockroaches can't fly, right?), it was more like a pitch black beetle. FFS, animals stay in your little holes until I've finished this paper.

It's dead now of course.

I found something hole-like...whatever was in it is now gassed with deodorant. Sensation fraîche.

Actually some cockroaches can fly. They're usually the big ones as well. Ugly. However if the insect you saw was uniformly black it was probably a beetle.
