Wow...a stick-figure comic...how very original. Such drawling talent should not be wasted on comics! :skeptic:

In Other News - I don't like contacts. I've had them for a week now, and they are very annoying...however, I like not having to wear glasses...so I think I'll just suck it up and keep wearing them. :bad: :rolling:

It is indeed an awesome webcomic, you must learn to bypass the "stick figure style" (as needlessly pointed out by Kitrax, thank you Mr. Obvious :p ) to truly marvel at the wits of the jokes.

Spend the afternoon at my great-grandmother's birthday party, she is 90 years old now. There was her, seven children, 24 grand children, and 37 great-grand children. I was on the last category, that's a bloody lot of people if you ask me! Especially when the number of people I knew wasn't greater than 12.

The cake was good though, so was the wine, I really liked the wine.

I was actually going to point that out too...

Even if he was in the US, with the way things are going now, the 1st amendment only applies if you're talking about something that doesn't offend anyone else. This post could probably be pulled by the government because the fact it points out probably offends someone. :p :rolling:

No, that only applies it what offends someone is also politically incorrect. There are things that offend me but because they are "politically correct", I'm told "tough Noogies"...

Well, it ain't my problem if my calling someone an idiot offends them.

ION, my housemate brought an interesting curiosity back - blackcurrant soda. I raised an eyebrow at first, but against all my expectations, it's good stuff, though it's natural flavors, so it takes a bit of getting used to.

I was expecting this curiosity to be rather expensive, but that was another surprise - $CAN 0.59 for a 2L bottle!

I'm back in the world of computers! Hurray! :rolling:

Yesterday I made spaghetti that were actually edible.

Plus, with the exam out of the way, I can finally go back to wasting my time productively.

Kitrax: (A few posts back) that was way too much trouble to get a gun... :p I can't believe you actually need/want one.

Well...first off, you're European, so you wouldn't understand to begin with. I'm not going to go in to it here because guns are like religion and politics...the debate never ends. :bang:

As for how much time and effort I put in to it, that’s nothing...those who know me well enough know that I research the hell out of things, and I will pay a little extra, drive a little further, and wait a little longer to get *exactly* what I want.

When I bought my first handgun, it was from a dealer at a gun show. He had the exact gun I was looking for...but I was 2 weeks shy of being 21, so I couldn't actually buy it that day. The guy's shop was about 130 miles to the south, but because he treated me with respect (something that gun dealers rarely do to young people), I decided to make the trip a "nice Sunday afternoon drive" with the wife. Knowing that we drove a fair distance just to do business with him, he gave me a bunch of free stuff with my purchase. :D :rolling:

If I bought a gun it would have to be a shotgun, because I have the D&D equivalent of a DEX 5. Even with a scattergun, I'd likely miss the broadside of a barn!

Oh, and to the Aussie who read my name as LSD, no worries, mate. My wife says living with me is like a head trip 24/7, so maybe I should change my name :spin:

How does she know what a head trip is like? Stay tuned, true believers!

Shotguns are fun, but they're even more fun when firing big salt bullets at someone

Did you explain, calmly and rationally, why s/he was an idiot? Tell me you didn't use the upper case ;) Anyway, sometimes admins take their job very seriously. One of the most respected posters at Giant in the Playground forum - the Logic Ninja - was banned for offensive language as well.

Has anyone watched the Olbermann comment on the "Ken Lee" disaster? I thought the title was a joke, but to my horror... it wasn't.

Great, just freaking great - for all the comedy value of the piece, I couldn't bear watching it more than once. Ironically, the people on the finals of the Music Idol show include some quite talented singers: Denica, Nora and Plamena are imo the best sounding, but I may be biased. I prefer the other music show currently going on - Sing with me (Pei s men)

Our basement is filled with plastic guns/pistols/rifles/etc and styrofoam and plastic swords... does that count? We probably have a few waterguns down there too.
