    I'm not so sure that our court system can take credit for that, JSBB. I think that it may be due more to Canadians looking at the various American lawsuits, laughing at the craziness of it all, and then feeling like we'd be hypocrites if we filed similar lawsuits. Or maybe we're just more level-headed ( :p at all the Americans out there)

    [​IMG] I was in Särkänniemi (one of the biggest theme parks in Finland) yesterday and today (I'm still spinning... :p ) That's why I were away two days, and lightning somehow affected my computer and I couldn't come here yesterday evening.

    Ara, Hurveli isn't anymore there, they took it away last year. Too bad. But there's Tornado, the best ride in the park in my opinion.

    Most of time, yes. I mean most of it sucks when you focus on one person and are shown the light at some point :rolleyes: It doesn't, however, suck when you do it. Social life etc.... Oh well, you always think it's more to it than social life, in the beginning at least. Anyway, this one was decided to be the last try before embracing (if failed) the path of wisdom, which is to stop giving a **** at all and get some play or withdraw at random fancy. Oh, am I bitter or what? Perhaps I just need coffee. And it didn't fail. Or hasn't failed *yet*, if you prefer. BTW, dating and coffee can go together. If only dating and boozing went together better... I could save much more time that I could waste later.

    You know how the finnish police "measures" the amount of penance given of... what's the correct word... of overspeed? (You know, dashing and crashing in the highway? :D )

    By a set percent of that persons annual income. The more you make money, the bigger fees you get, the less, the smaller fees; fair isn't it? Ok, the problem is that if you sell, say; your market stocks , or a forest you own, that year... Heh, heh... :evil:

    Yep, sell it for 1,000,000 and take 10% (just random numbers) and there you have it: a fee of 100,000 dollars/euros. :shake: A good reason to check the speed limitations while on road.

    Btw, that happened last year and was approved in court. It even made to the news worldwide. The guy had made a fortune with the IT-stocks, but after the "bubble" and the fall of the named stocks, he had no money left to pay his 25,000 fees. LOL, maybe he should had considered a bit before leaving to burn some rubber with his brand spanking new Ferrari (yellow :D )

    Hmm... maybe I should have put this to the new lawsuit topic... Oh, well; Tal can move this there if he sees it to fit.

    Went to an Indian restruant tonight for my mum's birthday. So nice food, and I never knew I liked Indian before.
    My school's just built a hockey turf, so we are now having hockey pratice 3 times a week instead on once, starting tomorrow :D
