    Appears my prediction was right. On day 4 I and my sinuses are way better, and that without meds. Usually it would have taken twice as long. On more reason to continue my daily ride from work by bike as soon as I am fully well again. Such a small thing and such a great effect.

    Have to do programming for tomorrow and the sodding programme I'm using keeps crashing, we're supposed to be doing exception handling but doesn't help when the compiler keeps ballsing up :rolleyes:

    [​IMG] Semi-regularly. It's been much worse in this building, but even Kev has been getting migraines here. Having to read large textbooks with a time contraint hasn't helped but the university has a policy of refusing to extend deadlines. You either hand in work on time or you have extenuating circumstances.

    It's been aggravated from a rebound headache, but it's just one of the other joys of having EDS really.

    On the upside the colour scheme on SP is excellent for reading in this state :D
    I've been using a transparent blue cover from an old notebook on the screen to read documents on a white background :lol:

    Speaking of "British" vulgarity, in your opinion 8 (or that of any Brit for that matter), are English, Welsh, Scottish, and Irish (at least N. Irish) cultures are becoming less distinct in their own rights, and melding into a shared British culture? Or does the individuality of your cultures and histories remain strong in face of a unified goverment?

    I guess this post could border on not being whatnot-ish.

I think part of developing as an island culture is that while the continent has very different ethos and culture between France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc on an island it's not so much a look as "those over the water are different to us" but an extent of "Those over the hill are a funny old lot"

    Post-roman Britain faced very strong reinforcement of tribal culture with Eire, Alba, Cymraeg, Kernow, Manx still retaining their distinct natures and England losing much of its native culture as local gods were absorbed into roman pantheons (Minerva-Sulis in Bath for example, or the Faunus inscriptions from Thetford) and roads between areas made cross comunication and trade of ideas a necessity rather than an option. Celtic pride is very strong still and england will always be the outsiders to that which makes us ideal picking posts ;)
