    I might have found a good supplier for phones I am having difficulty finding, like the European brands. Always glad to add more phones to the collection, even more so when I have the pleasure of adding rare gems like the Sierra Wireless Voq or the Nokia 6340i, a phone that could use both TDMA and GSM networks (and it's a PROTOTYPE to boot! Just imagine the value of this gem!), and adding European phones would be even sweeter.

    Best pressie's definitely the digital radio my gf got me -- nothing like Ashes highlights on demand. If I ever get bored of listening to Ricky Ponting's middle stump get taken out, euthenise me because I've clearly got tired of life. :shake:

    Tomorrow we are allowed in the Netherlands to purchase fireworks. Heavy regulated of course but we can. (and that means pricey)

    By the divine gift of our government we are allowed to set it on fire between 31-12 10 am and 01-01 2 am.

    No need to tell that lots of people do it at the same time. No need to tell that some do it drunk. No need to tell that this small time-frame forces us to go wild and do things warning labels try to prevent.

    No need to tell that left wing liberals want to stop it due to the environment and wounded.

    No need to tell I will pick up the pre-orders first thing in the morning just before breakfast.

    8 - Our heating was bricked when we got home yesterday. Was looking bleak (seeing as our agent is closed until 4th Jan!), but turned out just to be a boiler pressure issue, and a couple of knob twiddles fixed it. What's up with yours?

    [​IMG] Mine is just crap to be honest. It's a storage radiator type thing that's on the wall that ajoins the corridor between flats so most heat is lost out there.

    The jumper I've only just brought back to the flat from my parents though :D

    Also looks like when we get the money from Kevs previous employers it will be put towards getting my mother a new place to stay. As brattish as it might sound Kev and I just don't want her living with my step dad anymore. He's becoming more of a prick every day :rolleyes: and I want the happy, confident and level headed mother I grew up with back again.

    I was thinking of buying a new wifi modem, possibly something with NAS capability that I could use to stream videos and music to my Xbox360. Any thoughts anyone ?

    Currently hooked on Fallout New Vegas; without a doubt this year's best present. Though I quite like the red and black xbox controller too, especially since I can recharge it via USB. I was baffled to find out xbox controllers took AA batteries when I first bought it. Isn't this supposed to be a cutting edge technology ?

    Is there a sadder thing than console fanboy ? Seriously ! While I was shopping I asked a store clerk what were the newest games for my xbox, and apparently some teenager overheard us and took it to himself to explain to me why exactly the ps3 was superior...

    I don't deny there's good game for it, or that it's a good machine, anyway he was a jerk. meh.

    I just got my new 22" 16:9 screen (LED backlit; lower power consumption, faster reaction time, better contrast etc pp), to replace my late second 19" 4:3 display :bigeyes: Shiny! :bigeyes:

    I'll use the old 19" as a secondary display for browsing, and the 22" as the main display for work and gaming :)
