It's always a good plan to count your money AFTER buying alcomahol. That way you have something to cheer you up!

This time, it will take the whole bottle - at the very least :D. Fortunately, the end of the month approaches...

Pfff, I go away for a few days and everyone starts talking about alcohol withouth me... :o

Argh! I got a letter from the ministry of transportation saying I have to attend an interview because I have too many demerits points accumulated... I only have had two tickets in my life!! One in december because I slipped on ice while breaking and hit the car in front of me (instead of "reckless driving", the police officer only gave me "following too closely" because he understood the situation), and a speeding ticket (73 in a 50 zone). wtf?? :skeptic: And if I don't go, my license is suspended... grrr... And they send me a letter 5 months after my last ticket... great guys...

Yeah, but it is a social norm to drive 10 over the speed limit. And I was at a red light. When the green light came on, I sped to reach 60 but I had left my foot a little too long on the gas pedal" At the same moment I noticed I was a little over 70 and was gonna go down to 60, a cop car came after me. :shame:

[IMG] Just because a social norm is breaking the law, does not mean it is not breaking the law :p

Depends on the law. :D Or on the social actor - choosing between a fine to pay and a stoning to face...

Well since no police officer will give you a ticket if you're over 10 km/h, you can safely say that it's okay to drive at that speed.. ;)

I had my eyebrows threaded today. I'd rather go through child-birth again. I thought my face was being ripped off!

Actually, it was. They rip the skin off, tend to the eyebrows (easier when one is not moving, you see), then they sew it all back on. Why else would they tell you to close your eyes? :D:D:D

£12 it cost me! It only costs me £4 to get the buggers waxed! AND I had to hold my skin tight! She said she can do any body hair at all...I'd rather just naturally turn into an Ewok to be honest

Somehow, someway, this triggered the weird image of Tri-Cactus brewing Moonshine using cacti.

    This calls for the fog.

:hippy: :hippy: :hippy: :hippy: :hippy: :hippy:

(Daaamn, this fog is so strong I was wondering why the Hippy smileys didn't show. Turns out I had spelled it "HIPPIE". Frenglish, anyone?

Here...let me help you with that...

In Utah, it's ~7-10mph over....unless it's the end of the month, and they need to meet their quota. Then they'll get you for 2mph over. :flaming:

You're a wimp. :wail: Once a month or so, I need to get my eyebrows tended to, so they don't merge into a single entity. [IMG] The hot babe who cuts my hair "sugars" them for $5 extra to my $10 haircut. I'm not saying it feels good, but it doesn't hurt. It's more uncomfortable than anything else. The best part is…she has to stand right in front of me and lean forward. I always look forward to our appointments. :shake:
Now, if only she was single and *not* a Mormon. [IMG]

A drop of oil in water gains a coating of "frozen" water, its molecules sacrificing thermal movement to preserve orientations needed for their H-bonding. The number of possible states for those water molecules (and thus the entropy), drops. (States which were allowed without a hydrophobic surface near (the potential H-bonding was present) become prohibited, because the hydrophobic surface can't provide an energy equivalent to a H-bond).

Therefore, any hydrophobic molecule introduced into water, has an ice-like cage of its own (although, technically, the crystal structure of ice is absent - this "slowed" water won't grow).

    It's beautiful.

Water would rather stand still then break apart.

I'll never look at salad the same way again. Speaking of which... breakfast!
