PsT Wins an Award (at last)

    Just though you might all like to know that PsT is finally begining to get some of the recognition it deserves. This month's PC Zone has published its awards for the games of last year (was PST only last year?). Anyway in the special PC Zone Editor's Award PsT wins - hooray. In summary they reckon the game grows on you as you get into it and that the 87% they original gave it was too harsh. They particularly like 'the sheer depth and intelligent narrative' that is 'simply mind-blowing.'

    Hey, if this keeps up, maybe people will finally start to but it, it'll become a commercial success and they'll make a sequal. Cross those fingers everyone.

    Those guys must be really zoned out... Planescape: Torment was released in 1999.

    There's been a lot of talk about this a few months ago... Check the previous posts here. The fact is, the beginning of it was all wrong (trapped in the Mortuary) which turned many people off. But the biggest was probably an unknown fantasy world, which they didn't know anything about. God forbid they learn anything new...
    Nah... If it's not your typical fantasy with dragons, swords and magic, it sucks. That's the mindset of most people who didn't buy it I guess.

    Tal, PC Zone being a British mag, and the release of Torment wasn't until early 2000 over here. You can't give games awards based on a year when it was unavailable.
