psionics should definetley come into game.

however, it would require a huge game balancing. something should be done, cause not everyone has good will saves ;) (from the books, almost all saves, for normal chars are will saves against psionics.

a lot of job, but would give a lot of joy in playing.

I have to I played one of the Dark Sun games and I enjoyed it. The psioncist was pretty cool to play and I think the idea of having them in another would be cool. The only issue is that Dark Sun and Forgotten Realms are very different realms of game play.

To me it sounds more for a expansion. first get the game on the market with a good balance. Then in an expansion add prestige classes like a psioncist and other stuff mentioned in topics from different games/forums. It is not wise to put all the eggs in one basket.

No, no, no. The main game should have new stuff. And with all the prestige classes D&D has come up with, there are a lot of possibilities, especially if the first game is set to take you to high levels (20ish).

Just passing through. Wouldn't it be nice if they had divine, arcane AND psionicist magic!?! Maybe even a little bit of demon magic too would be interesting.

I don't know how demon magic works, but psionics should be fine. BTW, the powers that do direct damage more often than not have non-will saves, so it's not that much more will-geared than magic. I've seen people claim - and I agree - that the psychic warrior is among the best balanced WotC classes.

Psionics is no where to be found in the 4ed rules. So i doubt they will feature in BG3. Bard, Druids, Barbarians, Monks, and sorcerers will also be missing (unless they get added to the rules before the game is finished being made, of course)
