problem with Nickademus

    Remove all ads!
    An assertion failed in ObjAnimation.cpp at line number 18811.

    Any ideas as to how to fix? or, where to locate it so that I may fix the problem?

    Get the latest patch (v 2.01 beta), install it, and enjoy...

    You should be able to get it here on SP I think, otherwise you let Google do the work for you...

    I'm having this same exact error coming up when I go to Nichodamus. I installed the patch linked above but I still get the same error.

    Am I going to have to start a new game? I was thinking I'd use DaleKeeper to just give myself nathaniels ring or something and the items I need to repair the airship. I really hate this Ice temple place I've had nothing but problems with it.

    I have this error, and a fully patched game. Anybody know about a solution?

    If I can set some flag to say that I have
    spoken with him, and promised to help later,
    that would be OK too.

    At this time the exact thing happens to me, but only after I´ve installed the easy-of-use mod(never happens to me before, without it).
    Also, the mod seems to change some of the objects of the game, because I was not able to find the Nathaniel´s ring, a Thyrm extract or ANY diamond trough the entire ICE TEMPLE(nor abble to buy it ).
    Does anybody knows what exact part of the "bugfix" of this "awesome" mod did this to me?
    Or do I have to desinstall the mod and/or reinstall the original game(that will be a shame)?
    Ah, just for the record, in Targos town, there are NO braegh potion wasoever, or any hammer that satissfied the ballistas constructor(can´t remember the name).It this rigth?
    How does it possible? Nobody told about all those new bugs,beacause I´m already regreating about installing the mods.

    Those sorts of errors would happen if you installed the randomised treasure option in Ease of Use, which is why I never select that option.

    I actually though that, so just a few minutes ago, deinstall-reintall the mod (step by step) and that option was skipped like a virus...I´m gonna try it again now!

    Thanks a lot for the help. I had started to suspect it was something like this. I was not thrilled with the randomized treasure option, because it exchand lot of ok stuff with crap.
