POLL: Who wants a new RP?

I was all set to start posting under the Brynne Shander RP but I wanted to read it all first. I was getting all excited and suddenly it stopped. I'd like to be in a Faerun based RP but I don't see any that would accomadate my character, half-elven cleric/ranger.

 

I would love to join in a new one settled in the FR, cause i'm almost only familiar to that setting. A new one cause i find it kinda hard to join into one thats already running (as you can see in Lealit), but maybe i'm just to impacient

 

I would like one like the way we do it on Gamefaqs-- Free Style. You start with your own character on your own quest, there's no "have to start here or there" thing, you start ANYWHERE in the FR and do your own thing. About 5 other people are doing the same thing and your characters meet, interact, do one persons quest together or one person's quest may affect everyone. (example, we had a dwarf dragon master dude in Icewind Dale raising an enormous army with his dragon while the rest of us were whacking it in Beregost or something, and then our worlds were turned upside down when the whole sword coast was attacked)

Your character can either be good or evil, fight with other characters, etc. There's no DM, just your pure skillfull writing goodness. I was thinking about starting one, but I am too cowardly to do it. Maybe I will, I dunno.

I'm not currently involved in it, (yet, making a character right now ) but you may recognize my posts there under the name of "jiggajaysquared"

I like RP's where we send our characters through hell (literally even), trap them in a bucket and push that bucket off a cliff, set it on fire, and see what they do. THAT makes for some good character interaction.

 

Those of us there decided to go out in a blaze of glory, but those characters are now just recovering from their hangover's in Jiggajay's alehouse. I'm sure if someone came and got them they could be persuaded to go back there and reclaim it from the goblinoid host.

@Dalamar, I think you might mean Stalingrad, now returned to its original name of Volvograd. The battle that broke the German army in Russia and the book and movie "Enemy at the Gates" was about. That's an epic battle, but might be hard to RP.

Alpha One was good for a modern, and could be resuscitated.

 

maybe, have to see what period/place it's done in.

 

Ya that's it Scot. It was an amazing book. It was about two snipers on either side who had shootout to see who was the better sniper. A really cool idea for a RP.
