    I have a 19" Benq LCD for my PC. I am happy with it but my brother and father both think I am nuts. They swear by their dual 17" set-ups. My brother is currently a university student studying computer science and I can see how the dual monitor set-up is really benefitial for him. On the other hand, my father invariably ends up using only one monitor at any given time.

    I mostly use my PC for e-mail, web browsing, simple personal finance/tax spreadsheets, word processing, and games. There is nothing in there that would require a dual monitor set-up and the games benefit from one larger monitor.

    I have a big fat 19" one.

    My monitor is quite big as well (not an LCD flat panel malarkey, one of the old ones).
