    Flatscreen 17", 1280 x 1024.
I'd like it more widescreen, since I watch awfull lot of DVDs in this PC. Hoping to win that lottery soon :p

Standard 17" flat. Got a spark from a nearby lab to upgrade it to a huge 33" wide-screen sometime in the future, since the difference is HUGE. Once you have seen what it does to your vision, especially in games and movies, there is no going back.

Hell, you can kick out your TV and make the monitor the central screen with Internet-movies, downloads, games, work, radio, and stuff. The only drawback is the price. If a 24" flat-TV costs 2.000 €, I hate to imagine how much a quality monitor will cost...

After deciding to retire my old 17" CRT, I set out on a mission to find a nice LCD. Well, i ended up going through 3 different LCD's before finally finding the perfect one.

I'm the proud owner of an HP f2105 21" widescreen. It's freakin sweet and I got it for $200 off at Futureshop :)

From my experience, I advise avoiding the Acer 22" widescreen (forget the model). It tempts because of its low price tag but the thing is a piece of garbage. I had two break on me in one week... from normal use.

After reading all this I realise how poxy my monitor is! I dont have a tape so I cant measure it exactly but im pretty sure its around 12"... my laptop screem is bigger! Does a larger monitor significantly affect gaming experiences?

Celesialraven, you got a 21" LCD for $200? How exactly did you manage that? :hmm:

Duffin, 14" was the early standard, so I'm sure you have that, nothing smaller.

And yes, if you're a gamer, you shouldn't consider buying anything below 19" today.

The PC is connected to a 19" flat LCD monitor (which gets an annoying amount of glare). The new laptop has a 12.1" widescreen glossy panel.

ViewSonic E70f...the silver and black one. Not bad for $100, and certainly better than the 14" I had for 2 years prior...

I've got a 15" screen on my laptop, and a 19" CRT that sits next my computer desk.

One of these day's I'll be able to afford my dream screen...an entire wall. Got to love high-res projectors! :rolling:

    Laptop has a 17".

I've also got a Sony high-resolution LCD projector that I can use when watching movies. This thing is incredible. Extremely bright, and a 99" screen. Not bad for $11,000.

My desktop has two 21" Viewsonic LCDs attached to it. Pretty nice, but frankly the projector is better.

Nineteen inch SONY SDM-HS95 (whatever all that means) flat panel, and it is great.

On the wives old PC, a Gateway 20 inch CRT.

    Laptop, 14.1 inch flat panel.
