    @Kitrax:

    Love me or leave me is what dictators like to say each morning to the mirror. If US teaches the world democracy (or whatever thing it also does) and has problems with it itself (this is *not* offensive, so don't anyone bother flaming me), then I'm not going to just be glad that I'm not in US.

    Also every citizen has the right to comment on what the government does and what the living is like in his country. Please leave your country forever yourself once you first feel like criticising the government or living in your country.

    As for annoying topics, topics aren't really as annoying as stupid replies therein. I hate seing half-bright people sharing their misbegotten wisdom of the kind mormons=morons, catholics=ubertalibs, Christians=hypocrites, Muslim=terrorists, peace=weed, American=fat, disagreeing with Bush=leftist and so on based on religions, nationalities and convictions. I feel like seriously proposing entry exams for SP membership checking mental development.

    I don't really post in the Alley often, and the reason for that is actually the topic that most gets on my nerves. While I know that what's going on in the world is the War <insert scary music> I really don't see why basically every topic in a serious discussion forum has to be either Why America Sucks or New Information About the War! Every topic pretty much regresses into the same conversation anyway, and I'm fairly confident that everyone's views have been discussed and rehashed to the point of redundancy. And yet, we still have close to ten semi-active topics about one of these two things and everyone is eager to point out their view! We know your view! Views don't change from one thread to the next!
    Actually, I will admit that it may have a lot to do with my general lack of interest in political things, but either way...
