    You still have an alignment.

Alignment (in the D&D world, anyways), is not something people are consciously aware of (except possibly the Planescape setting, but that's something else). It's not like you get a road map from the gods, and they say "Hey, buddy, you can go down LG lane, or you can go down CN road, etc."

If alignment worked out in real world (I won't say if it does or does not), I don't think that most of us would know our alignment. But still, everything has an alignment in the D&D world. Everything.

It boils down to two things: how you treat life and how you treat laws.

If you treat life well, and respect, that's Good. If you treat life badly, or mock life (such as create a zombie), that's Evil. Neutral is in between, or if you are incapable of moral action.

If you follow laws (whatever they may be), it's Lawful. If you disregard laws (whatever they may be) when it is convenient for you to do so, it's Chaotic. Neutral is in between, or if you are incapable of ethical action.

[IMG] lol. I don't think so. I'm not a fan of LotR :p

I meant someone who couldn't tell the difference between real and fantasy and was lots of different things all at once.

    I wen for chaotic neutral.

I asked 8people what she thought, chaotic evil, or neutral. Wedecided on just chaotic. But there wasn't a choice for that :(

I assure you, I'm about as chaotic as they come.

    In Nobelman's situation:

    1) Knock the cops down and steal their guns.
    2) Put a bullet in the midget's leg.
    3) Beat the hell out of the beggar, break the hand he used to beat the girl. Send him to hospital.
    4) Spank the girl (what's she doing in such a neighborhood, away from her parents?)
    5) Go over to the midget and put a second bullet in the same leg. Pocket the money.
    6) Walk the girl home, tell her parents to pay more attention to her or else I'll take measures (point at the guns I still have)
    7) Return to the scene, beat the hell out of the cops, give them their guns back (they're unconscious)
    8) Go to a fancy restaurant and eat something with friends.

[IMG] I would get the girl and leave the place, in Noblemans' scenario. And curse the hides of the others. The police deserve a poisoning from their poison, the Begger deserves the loss of his little wealth, and the thief deserves the taunting of others for his shortness and greed.

    Well it depends...

If the beggar was slapping the girl in a way of "How dare you say that 'bout your mother!!" I would let them doing their own bussiness.

If the beggar was kicking the girl from one side of the street to the other, I would step in and ease both sides.

After that, I would get a beer...
