I'm bored, and curious to know what brand of phone, and provider you use.

*EDIT* Mine: Nokia 5165, with Robbers Wireless. TDMA rocks.

R.I.P 2001-2005 TDMA Panasonic Versio EB-TX-310. Rest in peace, my old reliable. I'll always remember and honor you as a reliable workhorse who never let me down. *tear* /me plays funeral march on a keyboard

*EDIT* For those who have selected "Other" on either question, to sate our curiosity, please drop a note about which brand/carrier you use. I realize that the list isn't complete, but I crammed as much stuff I knew/could possibly find.

Hmm, looks like it says KX414. Tiny little thing; I'd rather have one of those flip phones that ends up looking normal size once it's extended, but I'll take free over normal any day. ;)

    EDIT:
    Yeah, that's it.

This is a surprisingly comprehensive poll. Well done.

I have a Nokia 3210 on a Vodafone Prepay arrangement which costs me on average about NZ$4 a month.

Hehe, such a comprehensive list of providers and still so many people need to choose other :) (like me). But good job anyway. Only remark is that there is one question missing, one which would be more interesting than provider (especially since alot of those are too region-bound): what payment mode do you use? Like Prepaid or other (don't know how to say it in English).

If you say so, Ofelix, but I'd rather drown in the sewers than use a Bell Mobility. If there's a carrier I totally despise it has to be them. Oh well. Do yourself a favor, Ofelix, and give them the finger and join Rogers Wireless. I totally enjoy the freedom of SIM cards ans switching phones whenever I feel like it. I've never had problems with customer service, and while the prepaid service is pretty basic, it suits me just fine.

I have some relatively old Nokia phone. 3300 was the model number, but unlike in the pic, I have it red.

Have been thinking of buying Motorola Razr or one of those Samsung's shell-pones with colour screen. They look pretty neat, when compared to the regular ones.

Thank you, Shrikant. I had been thinking of this poll for quite a while now, and it gave me some time to include as much info as possible. Finding the names of carriers in Europe was a tad difficult. Still, glad you like it.

And Wirhe, if you want to buy a Razr, I suggest waiting a bit. There is an update of the Razr coming out, but unfortunatly, I have no date to give you. The only info I have is that it will be out "before the end of the year" probably at the same time that the CDMA Razr. If you want, as soon as I have more info, I'll PM you with what I have learned.

@Undertaker: Nokia 6020? Blech. That's an ugly bird if I ever saw one. Get a Nokia 8801 instead. It's my personal recommendation. I love this phone.

Ive got a Motorola V3-Razor Black on O2 contract, which seemed to be missed out, yet it is the biggest in the UK, which is OK if you are American.

I am Canadian, actually. Like I said, I am not familiar with the carriers in Europe.
