As I said it depends how you define what is normal, usually it's about social acceptance and it's very difficult to socially condemn something that represents the statistical average. Of course in sex you might find that there are quite a lot of people condemning a certain action while they themself practice it are have done so at some point, so in that regard matters are more complicated and defining normal behaviour becomes difficult.

While I don't have any empirical or statistical evidence to provide from my personal expiriences I can say that having sex with someone you first met is quite common, one night stands generally are such occations and they are not exactly rare anymore nor are that sort of relationships exactly shunned these days. Therefore it's very difficult for me to find any reason to call such behaviour anything but normal.
