That depends on what is the priority to a person. In my previous post, i have already listed my priorities. My aunt and her family lives in melbourne, they went there initially for jobs. Later they had children who born in aus, educated in aus ways and conditioned as australians, so they decided to stay. Another huge factor that helped them to stay is the huge chinese circle they have in melborune. Food, cultural practice, even chinese (hong kong, taiwan) tv shows and newspaper are hard to access.

Where was i .... so i was saying, there are things that are important and things that are less important. The ruler is different in everyone. To me, the important things are what i listed earlier and i do cherish them a lot. i went home this summer and the first week was spent entirely on tv. i watched every show on "channel 8" even the 4pm ones that were made for seniors called "golden ages".

I'm moving to Seattle soon ... does that count?

Mountains, ocean, rural areas for horseback riding within an hour's drive of a great urban experience. Other than rain, volcanoes, liberals and earthquakes, its practically paradise.

I took a peak at you're homepage... two questions:

    1)is that really YOUR homepage?
2)do you REALLY believe that bullpoo?

if you do believe... please don't be offended by my post... I'm agnostic... ;)

In case you didn't know, Mathetais is our religious father. Do not (I repeat) Do NOT start a conversation about anything involving christianity or you know that you know nothing yet. ;)

What does this have to do with moving to an other continent? I will consider going to Seattle and take Faragon with me. ( beat some more Protestantism in this socalled catholic :good: )

@Kelvon: Actually, funny story, I currently AM playing an elven archer :p Well, partially elven, so it balances out a bit ;) And I'm a pretty decent guy, just full of hatred for ... a lot of people

Hmmm. Everyone's coming to New Zealand... *lays out welcoming mats*

Anyways, I would go to Europe. Always wanted to go there. Scotland, England, Spain, France and all. Failing that, I'd go to Japan. Failing THAT, I'd just stay right here at good ol' NZ where you can laze around all day thanks.

MoN ... thanks for the reference. I'm actually moving to Seattle to pastor a church. I'm very excited about it.

And yes, I believe all that. In fact, if you want to know what I really believe, check out www.monergism.com :good: :holy:

Oh, and MoN ... I went to school in that
Yes, I was captain of the Hope College cheerleading squad (and don't laugh!) :D

I wonder why Scotland appeared in there ;)

Anyway, I've always dreamed of living in Antarctica. One of my life goals is to spend a year or so there, it just seems such an amazing place. Baring that, this group of small islands in the south-west pacific - called New Zealand - sounds like a wonderful place if I ever heard of any. An amazing place to grow up, live and die (not that I'd know about the latter one). Bueatiful scenery, safe enviroment - when every murder and gun shooting makes it on the headline news you know you're in a safe place ;) - and amazingly friendly people around, like me for example :D

Have you ever stood for an hour or two in -30^C while the wind freezes your ass off? I guarantee that once you get a taste of that, you'll be dreaming of "get me the heck out of here!" every day. :D

But the dynes are cool. ;)

A lot of people like the idea of Scotland. You do know its a turd hole filled with neds (Think Beavis and Butthead, but in baseball caps and tracksuits with a a nasty sounding Scottish accent)?

I actually like the idea of Ireland, considering my grand-mother comes from there and my mum used to love her holidays there.

I've been to Scotland and it was quite nice. Every country has parts that aren't so flash but Scotland has its fair share of really nice places (so long as you don't a brisk Northerly every now and again).

    @Mathetais

Hey that "Monergism" stuff is preety nice stuff, but it's just not my stile... :)

@all the people who actually bothered to read my post...

I just found out that BioWare are hiring staff and I would loooove to work for them, especially considering the fact that it involves moving to Edmonton, Canada and that's not such a bad ideea! But of course dreams will be just dreams (not to sound like a pessimistic person) but first I have to finish my schooling so I would meat the requierements for a job at BioWare...

Can you just imagine... the year is 2010 and everybody is anticipating the new game from BioWare: "Halruaan Misery: The Hordes of Dambrath"
And ME, MYSELF and a miniature giant space hamster by the name of (no...not Boo...) but by the name of Chedjikxantllukva IV ! ! ! These will be the great heroes of this game......

    So ya Canada would be nice... :) :) :) :) :) :) :almostmad:

Actually, living in Antarctica does sound appealing. No fools around to p*ss you off, no real modcons, just a fairly solitary life. That's what I need at the moment.

I think you can have a:
    quote:
"No fools around to p*ss you off, no real modcons, just a fairly solitary life"
on an uninhabited small isolated island in the middle of the pacific. Plus the heat, water in which you can swim without turning into a popsickle, rain not snow, bananas, mangos, coconuts, fury little wild sharp clawed and sharp teethed beasts that you can hunt and eat! So between Antarctica and a small isolated island, I would prefer the island.
