    Some good points there.

    I don't agree on the "yearly or nothing idea" though... As we've determined in one of the topics in SS, many people come here for only a short time when they need help with a game - relatively few stick around for a year. And people don't want to "overbuy" access if they're not going to use it. However, I will probably have to go with 6 months for a minimum... Dealing with dozens of monthly accounts would probably take way too much time for the little gain.

    Everyone who ever gets a portrait/avatar gets to keep it forever, provided he/she is active on the boards. If the account is inactive for more than 6 months, then it is considered abandoned and the avatar/portrait is returned to the pool of available ones.
