    Zero.

I do hope there would be someone, someday, but I know it will never be, so I'll just go along the same lines as Eze...

    Depends on the criteria...

1 prolonged puppy love that ultimately became friendship in a natural way

2 formal and official, one wasn't really love

Both short terms. Relations with the first one were quite weird and after two years she made her mind in a month and was with me for two weeks in which she was cuddling with jocks on daily basis as I lay sick in my bed. She tried to return for 4 years until she gave up. It started as a wager, I was considered unpickupable.

The other one was even shorter in term, but preceeding period of strange relations was longer and she tried to return after break-up (her idea, not mine). Things were quite serious... people thought I went to bed with her, but I was just helping her with something. Then we went official etc. So she's included. There was no come back, though as I didn't want it.

1 official, but without all formalities, and it wasn't love, break-up wasn't formal as she went to bed with a minor after two hours from things getting official with me

1 who sort of declared herself but later the contact was lost, and there was no such thing as love - we just impressed each other very much
1 per facta concludentia ;) only break-up was formal, it all lasted whole one week

And there was that friend with whom it couldn't click and we couldn't get along 'that' way... even though on multiple occasions we were viewed as and behaved like a couple on day to day basis - without any fireworks, though. So not technically an ex, but somewhere in that area, especially if alcohol was involved. Quite special relations, although there has been no love at any point.

So, you add up according to your criteria for a number in the range 0-6. If you ask me, I honestly don't know. I'd only say there has been no 'real' one. Sometimes I feel like six and tired, sometimes I feel like 0 and waiting for no1.

Failed ones, potential ones, and informal short-terms aren't included.

Well, dear people... I guess you shouldn't really include your current date. You never know. Perhaps your current date is dying to become friends with you?

I am a shy person as far as it concerns the opposite sex.. untill i see a woman and hear that click. After that i usually transform to Casanova and if it does not work out with her, bummer maybe i will try with someone else. But this happens rarely especially the last couple of years. :(

3 serious girlfriends as well. One I regret breaking off. The other I don't. And the other wasn't my say, but in the end I'm glad it happened.

    Oh, I don't know...

    A lot...

    Too many...

But that was all back before I became quite happily monogamous.

I've had 3 in my 16 years. One was quite serious, and lasted on and off for 3 years. We broke up, got back together and broke up again 3 times!

I'm drunk and drinking right now (it's 2am and I'm sad) so, here's to you Jaclyn (*ching* of glass against bottle made of glass).

    :) :( :o :)

I was with one girl for two and half years...lived with another for about four months...and had one other semi-serious relationship. So three serious relationships total.

The number of women I have slept with?...I don't know...who keeps track of those things. (I do; between 12-15, not sure exactly)

I thought the number (which sits at around 14) was at an end, but now it loks like I may have to start again if my wife gets her way. I do NOT want to be out there.

Well, counting all relationships of any seeming consequence, 10. Long term? Well of more than a month, 7, Of more than 6 months, 3, and over a year long, 2. Of real emotional consequence, 1.
That was with a girl 8 years younger, no sexual contact except a bit of kissing and lasted only 2 months, but I saw her last week and spent about 2 days with her and it's still there for both of us. Even though she's now engaged to someone else and I'm in a relationship which is about to reach the 4-year mark.

Man, she was (And still is) something very special

What are we defining 'partner' by? Sexual partners or just someone you've been on dates with?

For all my entire life - I am 17 - I had one serious relationship with a 16-old-girl this year. It was quite crazy... I loved her with all my heart and I did everything to make her happy. Unfortunately she was with me and her official boyfriend, so I was an unofficial one... :( That made her sad, but she remained his. So after the second talk and split, we remained best friends. Again so unfortunately she did some foolish things, and to be honest I did one, so we split up very bad and very painfully - for me... Now we don't see each-other, no phone-calls, nothing... That's her choice and I respect it. But for the sake of my honour I won't quite till I show her what she did and what she caused me...

Don't be bothered by that so much. It appears that you overestimate her feelings towards you. After all, she made you an 'unofficial' one, also having a 'normal' and 'better' boyfriend. Hardly fits the way one treats his or her best friends. Not that you asked my opinion, but anyway. Forget it, don't bear grudges, but don't blame yourself. She's to blame at least as much as you are, and apparently even more.

I remember being the 'official' one myself and I broke up and never regretted that decision for even a second.

That would be a big, fat 0. Not that I don't want a boyfriend, its just that its always the wrong guy asking... The good ones seem to either be taken or totally untouchable....

[IMG] Death Rabbit, I wasn't joking, heh. I've never really tried to hide it, so I didn't think I just 'came out'.

Eze, yuh. Have been for some time, I guess I never mentioned it to you people. Then again, I don't think you ever asked ;)

'Ey Elan Morin, these things just go down and down if you let them get to ya. Trust me, I've been there, done that, got the scars. You get over it, we all do. As Chevalier said, it seems it was her fault more than yours, so don't worry about it.
