Yeah, and someone who speaks French isn't English. :p

It's just a matter of taste, and seeing that the English have a pretty bad taste, it's probably only you guys who put milk in their tea, the rest of the world uses sugar or lemon. :D

I think you're forgetting that we're the tea masters, Pacman. The way we make tea is the best way, the rest of the world make a bollock of it ;) .

That's a bit amusing given the fact that tea is not native to England, and that the Chinese introduced tea drinking to Europe.

I'd say the Chinese are the tea masters and the English have made a bollock of it. ;)

Now that's just *not* a good cup of tea.

Milk, yes; sugar, if you must; genitalia is just going too far. Shame on the rest of the world.

    Eh everyone??

Tea is the 2nd most English thing that exists. After football ;) .

The whole British empire was built on cups of tea!

    Hear hear.

The British took that funny Chinese tea and made it into something wonderful. With milk and a couple of Digestives on a plate. Or Rich Tea. Though they tend to be a bit brittle, although less crumbly. And they lack the full flavour of a proper Digestive...

    Chocolate Hobnobs.

Now they're addictive. You don't get nearly enough in a pack. You couldn't improve them in any way. :)

    Aye...

That's why you have a *big* mug of tea. ;)

But digestives have a tendancy to break off if you dunk for too long, and then you have to either fish 'em out with a spoon, or you get mush at the bottom of your mug.

But any of them can make unsweetened tea a bit sugary...

    ....why like marines?

Because other because wilt and break and drop into your brew and you have to get a spoon to salvage it, by which time hyas become a manky mush.

Hob Nobs, on the other hand, are like "dip me again! That all you got? I'm going nowhere me son! Dip me again!" :D .

    Ah, I see.

Have you ever tried melting a KitKat finger at the spout of a boiling kettle (just before making tea, natch ;) ) ? It's great - it doesn't drip, it's just melty chocolate goodness. :yum:

    For once, I'm with Barmy.

What's wrong with crisps (chips) on bread, or beans on toast? Where else are you going to have your baked beans? Straight? That'd be a bit much.

Does anyone know who came up with lemon in tea first? I seem to be fixated on lemon in my tea but I don't even know who invented it.
