Well, you wanna talk balancing half-orcs? The simplest possible fix I'd say is to shave off one of their stat penalties, make their favored class "any" and add +2 bonuses to intimidate and saves against fear.

@xGriffsy: Problem is that Strength is considered more powerfull than either Inteligence or Charisma by Wizards of the Coast/Game Developers. It is obviouslly considered so much stronger that a penalty to two other stats was considered "equal" to the bonus of Strength.

IT is also largely desided by playing style. If your group play pure hack'n'slash then that +2 strength is worth its weight in gold, and the "drawbacks" of half-orc would be insignificant. If you play a heavilly roleplaying game then obviouslly strength might not mean much (other than you beeing the best guy to break open doors) but the penalty to two of the main roleplaying stats might hurt more. In a more balanced group the Strength will still help you enough ot be a usefull memeber of the party, while the penalties wont be severe enough to really limit the group.

A bonus on intimidate would be great though!

And I generally agree that they could have used one or two more racial bonuses (not stat bonus/penalties).
