Evil: I'd reach Godhood and take my "interest" with me as a slave (certainly not a demi-god).

Neutral: stay mortal and be happy growing old.

Good: Become a god and choose an avatar so I can spend time with my lover and homies in Faerun.

I would always choose to be a god. Who can honestly say that they would simply refuse such obvious power if it was fed to them on a golden spoon...

No choice there. Have to become a God or else dear Viccy gets murdered. :(

Mr Writer you are incorrect Bhaal was the god of murder. Jergal was the god of death. He gave up his position willingly to Bhaal, Bane and Myrkul who each hold a part of the death portfolio. You can read the detailed story here.

    History of the dead three

As for becoming a god while playing a good character . What some do not seem to understand is that when you become god you do not have to take the murder portfolio. You can take any portfolio you want maybe becoming a Paladin god (asuming you are a Paladin). You do not have to be a god of death, since you control the essence at the end.
