    Velve, every NPC has it uses, so therefore no NPC is unuseful. That use might just be somethis to practice casting magic missles on, but thats still a use,h is it not?

    Edwin is funny, but in BG especially, his low HP means he dies frequently. It's a failing common to mages, but still . . . I can see why people would opt for Minsc, as he doesn't die as often.

    I'm surprised by the popularity of Viconia. She's annoying in BG1 because her magic resistance works for healing spells (and potions!) too. Her sound set is wonderful, much better than in BG2.
    I like her very much but I voted Imoen because the story rather compels you to take her.
    I voted Minsc because a strong warrior is much more useful than a low level mage, even Edwin.
    Now let us be straight: Viconia & Imoen made it to the finals because they are females.

    Yeah, you have a point there, the polls been open for 11 days now. I think it's about time it closed.

    But of course they wont be closed while Imoen and Minsc are winning will they now. :p

    Imoen because she is part of the story, while Voconia is only really interesting in the second one and is not important to the unfolding of the plot.
    Minsc because I'm feeling in good alignment today.

    Imoen all the way! She's the #1 co-star of this series, and has the best stats of all the NPC's! Minsc would be second :)

    I find Minsc annoying, not funny. He brings a couple smirks, but not LOLs. And Edwin actually have good HP as a mage due to his high constitution score. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that he's a mage, so he still have lousy HP regardless.

    Since this is for BG1...I'm going for Imoen. If this was BG2, however, I would go for Viccy.
